They should wait until the verdict is in.

I understand family and close friends stick up for their loved one. In the history of tv interviews I do not think a scumbag's loved ones ever said "yeah I knew he would do something like this". It's always "I am shocked", or "he never did anything like this before" or "he was such a nice person".
Sorry, jr,. but in the minds of people like these, the verdict is already in. A cop killed a black kid and the kid hadn't already fired a weapon, so the cop is guilty of murder. Facts and truth are irrelevant.

These people don't care what the truth is. They have already made up their mind.

As far as they are concerned that never happened. To them the video was nothing more than a propaganda piece created by the police to discredit Brown.

I mean having a dissenting opinion doesn't make you a racist. But when your chants are racist, it kind of makes you look like one.
When you're standing there essentially accusing a whole stadium full of people of being racists then don't be surprised if some sarcastic SOB says "Yes I am".

Although the protest apparently occurred during intermission, and although many had clapped (either because they agreed with the position of the protestors or because of guilt for having not clapped), I would not have been all that surprised if many thought it was an inappropriate display. I certainly would have thought so, and I am moderately sympathetic toward the opinion of the protestors of the shooting. Protesting for its own sake has become far too prevalent among the Left.

Frankly, I'm not sure of they know what they are protesting. The incident is being treated like every other criminal case. Evidence has been gathered and a case is as we speak being presented to a grand jury.

That was my point, yes. If you chant racist slurs, people might get the impression that you're racist.

While they believe that the incident involving Mike Brown was an unnecessary escalation of force, their protests are mostly about a significant cultural problem involving the police and its relationship with the community.

I think a lot of people have already made up their mind on both sides. It's very predictable, sadly.

Personally, I don't know what happened or what the cop's motivation may have been. A lot of conflicting evidence
