Maybe not an appropriate place for the protesters but I really don't see a racist thing about it.

I did enjoy some of the crowds reaction - which ranged from smiling applause to a get that camera out of my face before I smash it side eye.
I didn't hear them sing that white lives matter. At what point in the video did they sing those words? The first time I heard "black lives matter" uttered was at the end of the video when you could hear the chanting (not singing) from the balcony, then the people who were in the video in seats in the audience joined in saying "black lives matter", including the young couple who was sitting very close to the person filming. I didn't hear them say "white lives matter" and then right after that, it appears the people in the balcony were leaving the theater and I saw the people in the seats begin to file out as well.

Not saying they didn't say it, but I can't hear it anywhere. I don't recall the words "black lives matter" being sung during the song itself.

I think you're right, I thought I heard it at 1:32 and 1:46 but I think it was the clapping while they were saying it that made it seem like they said white but after listening to those two parts slowly again, it does appear they say black and not white. I guess I was the only one who did hear it because I was the only one who heard it that way.

So I will take that back and instead of having to repeat that ten times after ten people quote me and tell me I was wrong, I will boldly highlight my error.

    I WAS WRONG
I call my own shots, largely based on an accumulation of data, and everyone knows it.

Nobody's perfect and no biggie. I'm senile (and blonde) so doG knows there was a good chance I missed it. Just wanted to make sure.

But don't be surprised if half a dozen people don't read your post before correcting you.

That frustrates me. When people don't bother to read the thread before commenting? I've actually inserted the word "blue" randomly in posts before, and called people on it, because they come in and comment on my post without even bothering to read it. When I asked them what was out of place in my post, they had no idea. But when you grill them on, "Did you actually read my post?" they'd be like... "Er... YES," and act all offended.

I'll admit to being guilty of that faux pas sometimes. If I come into a thread late I start reading along at the beginning, and when a post jumps out at me, I'll hit "reply with quote" without bothering to go through all the pages to see if someone else has responded to it or corrected it or whatever. I'm bad. People may see AW's original post (like I did) and just post the same thing I did without seeing her follow up post.

But I'm a lazy assed butt, I'll admit it.

Yeah, I do that too, but if I see that the conversation has morphed or something, I'll go back and edit my original post. I think it just bothers me more when posts/threads are outright ignored, and comments are made without any regard to the content of the thread.

I agree. I do sometimes go back and edit my post but others I'm just lazy and do a new post that says "Woops!".

Well, if they look like racists, sometimes it's their own fault:

Cardinals Fans Get Ugly In Clash With Ferguson Protesters

At 16:43, a female Cardinals fan begins chanting "Africa! Africa! Africa!" at the protesters.
At 17:10 a Cardinals fans tells the protesters that they need to remove their hats and pull up their pants.
I mean having a dissenting opinion doesn't make you a racist. But when your chants are racist, it kind of makes you look like one.

You wouldn't go in front of a hospital to do a "save the whales" protest or go to Antarctica to do a "stop deforestation" protest or some other place that has absolutely nothing to do with what you are protesting.
The only verdict that will matter, is, guilty.

    Apples and oranges.

Dissenting opinion is one thing. Chanting racist slurs is entirely another. Entirely.

But I'm sure you already knew that.
