Stanford scientists say drought linked to climate change

Yeah...Yeah...I know that this is just another study by a left wing university with a secret communist agenda to destroy capitalism through environmentalism...

The climate denialists are quickly becoming the flat earth society.

no wonder coastal cities are so liberal, they have the most to gain.

Egypt was once lush. Climate changes. Big deal.

Of course unless you live in one of the places affected. By the way Egypt wasn't/isn't lush because the climate changed but because most of the populated areas are the Nile river delta.

Climate changes and will continue to do so. Period

At the end of the last Ice Age, the Sahara Desert was just as dry and uninviting as it is today. But sandwiched between two periods of extreme dryness were a few millennia of plentiful rainfall and lush vegetation.
Sahara Desert Was Once Lush and Populated

Yeah. That, and the El Nino that always causes a drought in the west, plus the overuse of water leading to a lack of water resources in a region that is a man-made oasis in a desert.

Try reading the article for a change. It links man-made climate change with the drought. I guess everything has to be spelled out for you.

In the case of Egypt, the changes CAN be traced to humans altering the environment.

And again.

Climate changes and will continue to do so. Period

It is already known that AGW is a farce.

Climate changes and will continue to do so.

Yeah it is farce to those that believe that the earth is flat I guess. It is funny that how something that most people agree is happening and almost all scientists agree is happening that American political right still beleives is a farce simply because they disagree with the possible solutions to the problem. The only thing that is a farce is AGW deniers.

:naughty No. AGW is a reality to those who think the earth is flat.

You know not of what you speak.

Damming the Nile River deprived the delta region of it's annual supply of sediments... the very reason why this region was once so lush.

Ohh OK. Only those ignorant enough to believe in science that reflects their political ideology know what they are talking about.

Sell it the Birch Society.

Pay attention. The information above spoke of the Sahara, not just a localized region. Duh!
What you are speaking about is not the same thing.

iLOL :doh Said the one who believed Al Gore's baloney. Do you also believe he created the internet? :doh

The whole AGW is a political ideology. And you obviously believe it. :doh
That is why they changed from AGW to GW and then later to CG just to sell the bs.

The climate changes, and will continue to change, period.

This was the statement from you that I responded to...

Egypt was once lush. Climate changes. Big deal.
If you were referring to the Sahara then you should have said: "The Sahara was once lush" but you didn't. You said Egypt.

Don't blame me for your lack of geographical prowess.

Everyone realizes that climate has changed as a result of natural factors in the past, most of all climate scientists. That fact shouldn't encourage us to make the climate more uninhabitable as a result of factors we can control.

Said the one who doesn't understand that Egypt encompasses far more area than the localized area around the Nile.
That lushness had nothing to do with the Nile but with the climate at the time.
And had you read what was stated 3 minutes before you posted your nonsense, you may have understood that.

Just more AGW nonsense.

Your ingorance on this issue astounding.

I did read the part about the Stanford study linking drought to climate change. And then I read your response citing the example of EGYPT once being lush. Since the "lushness" of Egypt going back to biblical times has always been associated with the Nile river delta, I felt it prudent to point out that the lack of lushness we observe today can be directly traced to the damming of the Nile River.

That would be your ignorance you are speaking of.
