Beheading somebody is a very intimate action. If it does happen the two people usually know each other and have a history together.
To behead somebody he didn't know is evidence of something else.
Oh, I totally agree. It'll go through the standard path..."workplace violence" to "psychotic break" to "Muslim Extremist". It wouldn't surprise me if during their investigation the FBI found Islamist/ISIS/ISIL related websites on the guy's home computer. Two things derails the terrorist angle, however: 1) the guy was recently fired from his job at the murder site; and, 2) he didn't take hostages and put them on display before beheading his victim(s).
Again, I would label is terror related personally, but I can understand why the media would not. You DON'T want to give ISIS/Muslim extremist/Islamists ANY ammunition to think they've gained ANY clout in America. DON'T give these guys a rallying cry!!
