I believe that Mr. Putin's mind is occupied on just how he can get Russia back into Men's Hockey gold contention in two years. That and a nice warm steam bath in his new territory in Crimea.

    Putin's new motto. I came. I conquered, I laughed.

    That sounds oddly Clintonian!

I think the Russians namely Putin have realized they have met their match as our President is skilled in the arts of war and global stage leadership that Roosevelt would have been proud of to have witnessed if were alive today. The intellect and resolve displayed by Obama today was powerful and made us proud.

If we really go down this road I can tell you how it's going to end right now.

Yep, and we will still give them the arms even after they came out talking about the Air Strikes and Sovereignty of Syria. The Sunni want Assad gone. Yet as usual.....they cannot remove him themselves.

I'm not so sure - if our dealings with the ME has show us anything, it's that ruthless and brutal leaders may actually be needed in these countries to keep the peace. A "necessary evil" if you will.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

    Um....

First, "these are the facts" aren't the facts.

Two, the guy knows less about US history than he does about international politics. There was the Sioux nation, Cree, Apache nations and few other "neighours" driven off their lands...subjugated you might say. The two attempted invasions of Canada, the conquest of Florida, the Mexican-American war, the Phillipines, Puerto Rica and a few other "subjugations" in US history kind of make him laughable from the world view, but I'm sure US audiences see the white hat and Bruce Willis in there somewhere.

The other thing, the guy has become a huge ham. There is playing to the home audience with grim, long pauses, and desk thumping, what an act!

It was childish and insulting, the man was talking to world leaders who were specifically assembled for his appearance, not a Boise high school senior's class. I wouldn't have booed, I would have walked out. Save the drama king bull**** for the low, low information voter.
    Mornin' F&L. Didn't BO say.....he doesn't do theatre.

Well....he was kind of enough to say Russia would join in with the Fight on Isis. That Russia could cooperate. I wouldn't care if he put troops on the ground in Syria. Although we might see some MB backed Syrian rebels come up missing. Which really wouldn't be a loss to anyone.
