“I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on what’s being proposed here, he’d agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute.” - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.
BO to hard to figure out what the Initials stand for, huh.
That's not the point about them being happy the point is about them receiving weapons last year. Oh and rather than you try and change up with what words you think people use. Lets stick to yours.
You said that BO didn't supply the Rebels with Arms. You lied.....you were wrong.
So the only one grasping for straws.....was you. While not noticing which one broke that camel's back. So much for your keeping up on the issue. But at least you gave it the cub scout try.
We've actively supported the rebels trying to oust Assad while Russia has historically supported him. Now with the emergence of ISIS, Russia, Assad, AND the US seem to have a common enemy.
Perhaps when the Russians intervened on behalf of Assad during that chemical weapons/"red line" situation a while back they knew something we didn't?
Heya Jack. Yeah and when the 29 opposition groups pledged against us. Their commanders admitted that they would give the weapons to al Nusra. Since they were the ones taking the fight to Assad.
That was back when Idris of the FSA said they would make sure the weapons didn't fall into radicals hands.
Yep, and these Terrorists are everybodys enemy.
If we really go down this road I can tell you how it's going to end right now.
Killing one person is murder, killing 100,000 is foreign policy
I love this guy! Obama is the best president ever for entertainment value.
26 seconds in he says with a straight face "no nation can subjugate it's neighbors and claim it's territory."
First, "these are the facts" aren't the facts.
Two, the guy knows less about US history than he does about international politics. There was the Sioux nation, Cree, Apache nations and few other "neighours" driven off their lands...subjugated you might say. The two attempted invasions of Canada, the conquest of Florida, the Mexican-American war, the Phillipines, Puerto Rica and a few other "subjugations" in US history kind of make him laughable from the world view, but I'm sure US audiences see the white hat and Bruce Willis in there somewhere.
The other thing, the guy has become a huge ham. There is playing to the home audience with grim, long pauses, and desk thumping, what an act!
It was childish and insulting, the man was talking to world leaders who were specifically assembled for his appearance, not a Boise high school senior's class. I wouldn't have booed, I would have walked out. Save the drama king bull**** for the low, low information voter.
