I have never seen him do anything wrong, expect possibly lie to his parents about going to high school parties and he has had a few traffic violations. Other than than that, he doesn't do anything wrong nor stands for anything wrong. He isn't a radical Muslim. In fact, I have seen him drink beer which is not allowed in Islam. And I have seen him eat meat that is not halal, also not allowed in Islam.
He is still Arab and believes in God and the prophet Muhammad, so he calls himself Muslim.

Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.” ― George Bernard Shaw, Man and Superman
Remember, on the other side of that screen is a real person. ( Missouri Mule )
"Middle Eastern" is not technically a ethnic distinction. It is more of a regional distinction, so save it. I am not ignorant.
I already covered this BS diversion in my statement that my friends are Pashtun (Pakistani) as well as Arab, Persian, and Turkish. It's debatable if Turkey and Egypt is the ME as well.
The bigger point which you choose to ignore is the racism towards their skin color, ethnicity, and place of origin. I have seen the racism they experience first hand. The racist people don't even know they are Muslim, they just know they are brown.
I am engaged to marry somebody from the "middle east." I take it personally, because if my future children experience BS racism, it will hurt me. I have seen bigotry towards my boyfriend and towards others. I just don't like to see people I care about be hurt by others, and for stupid, ignorant reasons.
