A video airing on CNN Wednesday showed witnesses' immediate reactions to the shooting death of Michael Brown, the unarmed black teenager shot and killed by a Ferguson, Missouri police officer last month. In a cell phone video provided to CNN, two men who were doing construction work on a home near the scene react to seeing Brown shot by Officer Darren Wilson.
"He had his f**king hands up," one man says in the recording.
The men later spoke to CNN about what they saw. One worker said he heard two gunshots about 30 seconds apart:
"The cop didn't say get on the ground. He just kept shooting," the man said.
That same witness described the gruesome scene, saying he saw Brown's "brains come out of his head," again stating, "his hands were up."
...
The other contractor told CNN he saw Brown running away from a police car.
Brown "put his hands up," the construction worker said, and "the officer was chasing him."
The contractor says he saw Wilson fire a shot at Brown while his back was turned.

A video of immediate reactions from a couple of construction workers who said, "he had his hands up". This just backs up more of the witnesses who said that Brown in fact did have his hands up in the air when he was shot multiple times.

Damn, I forgot all about this. Leave it to Ray Rice to knock Michael Brown off the front page.

I guess those guys are going to testify. Time will tell.

The selective use of witness statement agreement is troubling. Yes CNN found a couple of folks (out of many) that said Brown was shot while his arms were raised but some said he was shot in the back (not so), others reported only one or two shots fired (not so) and this was from folks said to be at a distance of only 50 feet from both the officer and Brown. Surely at the range of 50 feet one can determine the difference between one or two shots and (at least) 6 shots. For someone running away with their arms in the air it is amazing that the the fatal shot could strike the top of their head from above. At no point do we hear a witness explain that possibility.

This is pretty damning evidence IMO.

The fatal shot came as he was falling. But regardless, this has to be damaging because it is a actual real time reaction from two witnesses that are not from that area and they are not black. Lets see how you guys discredit them.

Things certainly aren't always as they appear, but this evidence looks pretty compelling.

Unless it is contradicted by physical evidence, or other witness statements, then I will agree. My point was that more differences than agreements existed in these various witness accounts of events.

What real time reaction?

The video is after the fact.

Please watch from the 03:44 mark.

Damning?
How?
The guy didn't say the hands were up surrendering.
So it fits with the hearsay account that Brown was taunting the Officer.

Secondly. CNN is misstating the distance as 50 feet. The individual in question wrote it down that it was 40 - 50 yards.
And then when one measures the distance from where they are at their truck to the scene, it is more like 75 yards and may even be further from the ditch they were digging in.

The images are both scaled down for posting.
When enlarged to their natural size you can clearly make out the 40-50 yards as written by the witness.
As well as the distance gradations on the second image.

What?
These witnesses did not say they were hands up in the air surrendering.
And if the video is any indication of how the hands were up, that fits perfectly with the hearsay account of taunting the Officer, not up as in surrendering.

Then we have both Dorian and the girl changing their accounts as to how the hands weren't actually up. Likely they have been told the surrendering bs isn't gonna fly.

Starting @ the 01:24 mark you can hear her change from her previous account to the new one of they "were just slowly going up, it probably didn't even get a chance to get all the way up there ..."
WTF?
Probably?
It?

She is lying. Just as Dorian is.

It's not "real time". You can see the cops putting up crime scene tape so this was significantly after the shooting.
