Just a few years ago this would have been tin foil hat stuff. Now, it's very very scary and very very real. Unfortunately, the masses have not been paying attention or worse: don't care.

Oh, you can say we need laws that prevent it. But I no longer believe that the government follows it's own rules...unless it wants to.
What might fix it would be information security strong enough to prevent anyone who wasn't you from viewing your information. So far as I know, however, that does not exist and has no real chance of existing any time soon.
So the only other option, IMO, is to basically ignore the mfers and do your normal **** anyway, screw em if they can't handle it.
