Arming Ukraine could lead to nuclear war: Lech Walesa

I think whether he uses them or not has a lot to do with our responses. But we will have to make a decision on how far we're willing to put up resistance.

I doubt he wants all out nuke war either. It wouldn't happen suddenly,
it would be in reaction to a series of blundering military actions by aggressive field commanders.

Whom do you allude to? I heard Suomiland became a member of NATO? I think they were here somewhere too?

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Montenegro, Albania and Croatia, the Republic of Moldova and of course, the Ukraine. Many of those already have a Membership Action Plan in place, but have hesitated. I feel they may no longer hesitate.

Finland is not a member of NATO, however they do cooperate with NATO and have participated in a number of NATO operations.

You are wrong.

Albania and Croatia are already NATO members (NATO, 2014). Further some countries in your list do not really hesitate, but may benefit more easily in being members by rejoining back to the countries that they were separated from thanks to Russia to begin with. These may be Moldavia (rejoined to Romania a NATO member), and surely is Dardania (rejoined to Albania a NATO member). Thus to shorten your list you have: Bosnia, Georgia, FYROM, and Ukraine.

Further analysis:

Bosnia is divided in three sub-regions controlled from Croatians, Serbs, and Bosnians. The degree that Croatians in Bosnia may be pro-NATO may be countered by the degree Serbs in Bosnia are pro-Russian. This leaves Bosnia undecided because it takes every member to agree on joining NATO. Similarly FYROM may be pro-Russian also.

I do not think NATO wants Georgia just like it may not want Ukriane at the moment. These are contested troubling territories. The major contributor to contests and troubles is of course Russia.

When you look at it this way it is because Russian influence on its satellite Serbia that the above mentioned countries are left undecided to begin with.
