Right! What ever happened to personal responsibility and telling the truth. If this officer left his dog in the car without proper ventilation, he is guilty. Man up!

Hot enough to kill a dog.

Consider who is responding to. Some people here are hardly worth the effort.

Leave him in the hot car and see how long he lasts. He will remember next time.
I'm not much for an eye for an eye, but sometimes at bit of their own medicine would be an appropriate punishment for all idiots who think of nothing else but themselves.

You're too sensitive. I haven't seen anyone making fun of the dog. I'm personally very much against using dogs this way, or in calling/considering them police. However, the doggie nuts insist on it. So I very much agree with the point, that if anyone else had killed this dog the charge would have been much, much more severe. And so it should be with this officer.

    That was cute.

My dog happens to have a toilet fetish, likes to stick his head right into the bowl. I've closed the lid on his head a couple of times, he still doesn't understand, toilet bad!
