On a side note, I generally strongly support the police and take their word 95% of the time, if not more. But this cop screwed up...as did these cops in St. Louis when they killed a man whom they claimed was charging them, as this video clearly shows was not the case.

Cops are human - and the vast majority of the time, they are good, honest people who are doing their level best to protect and serve. But they are human, which means that sometimes they screw up. Sometimes they are evil. Sometimes they are racist...

...but those are the rare exceptions to the rule. In cases like the killing of Michael Brown, it's almost always a case of "this guy just might have a gun that I can't see and he might kill me so I've got to fire nownownow!"

The case of the killing of Michael Brown was IMO probably not a case of a malicious killing, but more likely that of a policeman who did not follow common-sense law enforcement practices (one of which is to try to avoid that which further agitates the prospective perp) and then allowed his fear to rule his actions. Of course the vast racial disparities in the city population as compared to the city government and police doesn't help.

Race is only relevant to the Race peddlers who seek to cash in on this shooting.

If the Cop was attacked and then rushed he had every right to shoot Michael Brown.

It's a general anti-fascist symbol. Fascism does seem to be making a come back, look at Europe, especially Russia which you can make quite the argument is a fascist regime.

All I am saying is that it seems to me that this situation is very similar to Trayvon Martin, in that one person is accused of racism against an innocent kid, and then when more facts come out, it is discovered that the only racist was the "innocent kid" and not the person originally accused.
