Brown paid for cigars - Ferguson Police Busted – Attempt To Defame [WL:168]

Re: Brown paid for cigars - Ferguson Police Busted – Attempt To Defame Shooting Vict

Well, let's take your whole quote:

So there's no reason to suspect it isn't and it "tears asunder" the "false story." Now you're going to play semantics and say you didn't say it was correct? How exactly does it tear anything asunder if it's not?
It is pretty clear. Those remarks are dependent on the first, "If the following is true".
How can you not understand that?

Re: Brown paid for cigars - Ferguson Police Busted – Attempt To Defame Shooting Vict

Someone from the government bearing whiskey? How about Harry Reid?

That would be trespassing. He would have to be physically detained under citizen's arrest for the local deputy (who is more conservative than me) to arrive. That could take about an hour and a half. I would then throw away said whiskey as it probably be urine. Earl might just call and tell me to just, "dig a hole."

Re: Brown paid for cigars - Ferguson Police Busted – Attempt To Defame Shooting Vict

OK, wait a second. My blog source was horribly wrong because everyone could see from the source that it was biased.

.

It was not horribly wrong for the sole reason it was a blog or because that blog was radical leftist in nature, it was wrong because it falsified a video in order to deceive -- a video that nearly everybody with even a passing interest in the subject has already seen. You posted this, anyway, and when the nature of the deception was brought to your attention, simply dug in your heels and became even more belligerent about it rather than admitting you were deceived. In doing so, you have displayed that the deception is really quite intentional on your part since there is simply no way around it.

Part of the problem in perception here arises when people determine their attitude based upon a very simplistic framing device where being part of the left means one reacts one way and being part of he right means reacting another. It is this sort of identity politics that is at the heart of the matter in general, where people defend thuggery simply because the thug in question was black. This is a vey dogmatic and racialist position to take since it demands the very intentional suspension of criticism as you have engaged in here.

Playing the game of right vs left while wagging fingers is cowboys and indians stuff. What people should be concerning themselves with is what happened and what didn't happen. In this case, you have been quite determined to advance an agenda that something that DID happen -- quite demonstrably so as anybody can see -- actually didn't, and what didn't happen as can be determined with any clarity actually did.

When people cling to predetermined positions despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, they become part of the problem instead of part of the solution.

Re: Brown paid for cigars - Ferguson Police Busted – Attempt To Defame Shooting Vict

This case has a lot of holes in it. I think everyone need to pump their brakes and wait for all the evidence to come out before declaring who deserve to die and who should go to jail.

There are too many moving parts.

Agreed.

Re: Brown paid for cigars - Ferguson Police Busted – Attempt To Defame Shooting Vict

Dorian Johnson, the Brown apologists's star witness has admitted that he and Brown committed a robbery prior to the shooting.

Morning apdst.

Yes the robbery of the cigars was admitted to. But just like this story, when the video came out of Brown in a confrontation with the store clerk, some tried to spin that from strong arm to a little scuffle and the theft of the cigars wasn't a robbery but a minor case of shop lifting.

Since this thread is about the cigars, I have a question maybe you or someone else could answer. Are these sweet cigars Brown stole, the same type used by people who pack the cigar with marijuana and then soak them in PCP before they smoke them? If so, the reports state that marijuana was detected in Brown. That's easily determined but other drugs like PCP take a toxicology report to confirm and that probably won't be completed for another week.

It is mostly young people who abuse this drug, such as teens in high school or young adults. It first became popular in the 1980s, leading police departments across the country to spread alerts about the dangers of trying to arrest people who had taken this drug. While some stories of the danger may have been exaggerated, it is true that some people who were hallucinatory would not feel pain even if they were shot and might even break their own hands to get out of handcuffs. The intensity of the psychosis and the anesthesia resulting from PCP combined to make these people hazardous to be around.

Signs and Symptoms of PCP Abuse

There are two versions of this story that are emerging. One side isn't holding up too well under scrutiny starting with their eyewitnesses. If the toxicology report comes back with PCP in the system, that would help validate the officer and his eyewitnesses to confirm their account of Brown turning and bum-rushing the officer. Just a thought.......

Re: Brown paid for cigars - Ferguson Police Busted – Attempt To Defame Shooting Vict

It has a lot to do with my source being wrong because it's a blog. Why would we believe this blog, and not another?

Simple, the rule that is played by is that only liberals need absolute proof.

Thats the rule for everybody. The Libbos seem to want to be exempted from that unwritten rule.

I don't smoke dope, so I couldn't say with any certainty that Swisher Sweets are/aren't used to make blunts.

I'll confirm that Swisher Sweets are a common cigar used for blunts. But the PCP part might be a stretch, because that stuff makes you pretty incoherent.

Well I didn't know they were "Swisher" Sweets and that packing them with marijuana is called a blunt. But thanks to that information it was easy to find a how to video on YouTube how to make a Swisher Sweet blunt. Thanks.

The only thing I know for certain about Swisher Sweets, is that my wife won't let me smoke them in the house. :)

The title of the article is a bit misleading, but this is interesting.

– Ferguson Police Busted – Attempt To Defame Shooting Victim Blows Up In Their Face (VIDEO)

They never called to report a theft according to their attorney either.

The video has been out a long time and shows Brown AT the counter near the register it DOES NOT show him paying for the cigars.

Apparently a leap of stupidity is being attempted where people claim "no thief would stand at the counter near the register while deciding what to steal from a convenience store and since brown stood there he cannot be a thief".

WHo'se lawyer made this statement?

I believe police records show otherwise.

Total fail.

You're only saying that because the original version, that you and others insisted was the gospel, turned out to be crappola.

How often are conservative blogs posted as absolute fact? More times than I can count, I know that. You do it yourself.

Let's be fair. The Libbos pushed a version of events that turned out to be complete fiction; the only accuracy being that a black dude was shot and killed by a cop. They're very embarressed right now and are fesperate to save a little face.

How often do Libbos poo-poo a source because anything that doesn't fit their version is a lie? All the time!

Dorian Johnson, the Brown apologists's star witness has admitted that he and Brown committed a robbery prior to the shooting.

He also stated that Brown was surrendering to the policeman. As tres borrachos pointed out, if one part was a lie, the whole testimony is thrown into question - including the part where he admitted a robbery.

And the opposite is what happened on this thread, but then Excon had to post a Facebook status and a con blog as absolute truth.

That is what I objected to. You can't have it both ways.

It does show him at the counter. It is true that you can't tell if he paid or not. However, you don't know that he didn't.

The lawyer who stated that the store did not report a robbery was the store's lawyer.

You're still trying and ignoring the obvious.... for what purpose or goal?

Re: Brown paid for cigars - Ferguson Police Busted – Attempt To Defame Shooting Vict

This case has a lot of holes in it.
:doh
The only holes are in the accounts against the Officer.
His account has no holes in it.

He also stated that Brown was surrendering to the policeman. As tres borrachos pointed out, if one part was a lie, the whole testimony is thrown into question - including the part where he admitted a robbery.

Johnson has admitted guilt to involvement in a crome that he could be prosecuted for. It's not much of a stretch to suggest that he would say anything to keep his ass out of jail.

It's obvious that he assaulted the clerk.

Re: Brown paid for cigars - Ferguson Police Busted – Attempt To Defame Shooting Vict

Odd. We know enough of the evidence as it is to draw conclusions.
What do you think will change about that?

The only accounts that suggested the Officer was in the wrong sounded contrived, were unbelievable, and even proven false in part.
Credibility out the door.
All it has done and will continue to do, is fall apart.

What do you think will change about that?

As it has already been falling apart, there is nothing that could come along and shore up crap that has already fallen apart.
It just doesn't work that way.

Example: If the following is true, and there is no reason to suspect it isn't, this is just another example of the false story being torn asunder.
A radio station had just announced this..

On the contrary we do not, and only a moron cites facebook.

You posted a source that was flat out wrong. What do you do when you get busted? You keep insisting the lie is true!
