.....during mysterious carjacking in Paris.

Heavily armed robbers have attacked the motorcade of a Saudi prince in Paris, making off with 250,000 euros ($359,000) in cash and reportedly stealing "sensitive" documents. Police say the spectacular robbery took place in northern Paris late on Sunday (local time) as the motorcade was making its way from a hotel on the Champs Elysees to an airport in Le Bourget.

A gang of "between five and eight" thieves in two BMW cars hijacked the first of around 10 vehicles in the convoy, driving off with the three occupants before letting them go, police say. A source close to the investigation confirmed the theft of diplomatic documents but told news agency AFP: "For the moment, we have no details about the nature of these documents. They could be sensitive documents but they could equally well be unimportant." The Saudi embassy in Paris could not be reached for comment.....snip~

Now I wonder who could have pulled this off. It appears someone knew they would be carrying these alleged sensitive documents. Still to pull this off in broad daylight and Right there in the middle of all that traffic. Was quite a feat. What do you think about this?

I would not be suprised if these were not criminals but people from a foreign intelligence service from a country that has problems with the Saudis.

Could be pritty much everyone actualy...

Who realy is a friend of the Saudis? Pakistan and the UAE maybe.

I guess Iran would have the most interest in such documents.

Mornin' German. :2wave: This was my same thought. None killed or injured plus they took out the first ten cars. knew exactly which car had the Docs and Left money to top it off. I think it has to be someones Intel Agency.

One thing is for sure.....its not any supporters of Terrorists.

Sounds like an opening scene to an action movie.

You know for an organization that doesnt tolerate failure they sure do fail a lot... in fact every one of their schemes failed thanks to one secret agent.

Naah he just wanted to take credit and say an American had a hand in taking out SPECTRE even though we all know Leiter pretty much plays second (or even third) fiddle to 007.
