Away with you, crazy conspiracy theorist. That never happened. The police wouldn't ever do that, they have shiny badges that make them impervious to any human emotion, corruption, or law.

    Wut?

Clearly, you misunderstand me. I was pointing out that their attempt to "dismantle" the camera equipment was laughable and pointless. It was not in any way a condoning of firing tear gas at reporters or ****ing with their equipment. Jesus.

I don't know how else I was supposed to interpret that. I didn't come up with the title of the article referencing the video.

Let's just recognize we both agree and move along.

As a mockery of the cop's actions.

I understand, and I would argue that the choice of "dismantle" was deliberate exaggeration on their part. The article was trying to point out how what the cops did was wrong. But there was really no need to exaggerate it; in fact, doing so just undermines the credibility of their message.

The cops clearly did intent to dismantle it. But they only thing they could think of to do was to lay a tripod down and point the camera away. Laughable incompetence.
