That's pretty much it but work is not always available and if it is, it may only be minimum wage work.

    Its not a binary issue

Well, we seem to of found an alternative to the justice system. Instead of spending money on all those courts and other useless junk like investigations, we will just have the press release limited information and then hang anyone the mob decides deserves it. Much cheaper than police, judges and all that.

You control violence by meeting it head on with violence, but be better at it and brutal enough that it gets the message across.

Peace is not won with tolerance, acceptance and compromise with evil and wrong doing. It is won either be being so good at violence that no one dare **** with you or by putting a gun to evil peoples heads and blowing their useless brains out.

Please take that ignorant reference to "The Republic of Texas" out of your location, it's a myth. You embarrass the rest of us Texans who are sane. The same goes with your Rambo attitude toward others. Learn to leave that crap at the movies.

While that is true, the outrage is about potential excessive use of force by the police department (perhaps what amounts to the execution of a unarmed black man by a white police officer.... not saying that IS what happened, but that is the concern of the black community of Ferguson).

When the police department shows up dressed like the SS, essentially doubling down on the allegation of excessive use of force, its likely to provoke the outrage of some of the more militant of the protestors. Its as if the police department said "...excessive force? I'll show you excessive force..."

Whoever was in command of policing of the protest is an idiot. The optics of this are so obviously insensitive to the situation at hand..... no question some of the protestors were over the top; but so were the police. Good policing is about de-escalating a situation; not aggravating it.

I appreciate the fact that the rioters compromise the integrity of the underlying protest by distracting the less savvy from the issue; but don't a member of the less savvy.

Always a giggle when liberals talk about free speech, amendments and the constitution. Tots adorbs.

So Im all for equiping the first responders with what they need.
Bull, the normally equipped policy handled protests and riots just fine in the past. It's moronic to have policy who look, act and are equipped as our military. The NG, is capable. I support the two senators ambitions.

    LOL !!

Go Google the 1992 LA riots and watch the videos that show the first 24 hours of the riots.

Watch the thugs pull innocent people from their vehicles and beat them to a pulp because there wasn't enough of a Police presence to shut down the roads leading into the epicenter of the riot

What did it take to finally get the rioting and looting under control in 1992 ?

It took the California National Guard.

You have no idea what your talking about
