Im sorry but the only reason you should ever get the the point where you are firing a gun at someone is when the situation is bad enough to warrant killing the suspect.

Act like a jackass and you deserve what you get.
I don't think all the facts are out. His gf made it sound like he got shot before he had a chance to comply, so more info is needed.

If he ended up pointing that gun at cops before they had to get a word out then yeah.

If you put a cop in a position where they have to roll the dice on rather this is a real mass-shooting or just some jerkoff, you will find out if that cop believes in "I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6".

Got a reliable source to back up your contention that he was threatening people? Who told you he was threatening people?

Now, if it had been so packaged and the guy took it out of the packaging, that's another story.

I believe there is potential, particularly in America, for a lawsuit against both the manufacturer of the toy and Wal-Mart. It is irresponsible, in my view, to have a replica gun for sale in such a form that it can be paraded around a large store as if it's real. Especially, considering the number of crazed idiots who are actually doing such things with the real deal.

Police are not to blame at all under the circumstances.
Why are you assuming the buyer didn't take it out of the package?

Edit: Nevermind, it was cleared up a few pages ago.
