Only thing I remember him from is the old guys reunion when they went into space to deal with that Russian sattellite. What was that movie? Space Cowboys!

I think my favorite movie of his was "Murphy's Romance" with Sally Fields.
I think that's why everyone liked him, he was a real person

Another talented actor passes. Condolences to his family and his many fans around the world.
A fine actor, and seemed like a fellow who would be a good dinner guest.

Loved the Rockford files and many of his movies, including The Great Escape.

The Great Escape is still a movie I'll watch when I see it's on TV.

I loved Garner and always thought he was gorgeous. Here's a clip from The Great Escape (If you've never seen the movie, Donald Pleasance's character, "The Forger," has gone blind, and James Garner, known as "The Scrounger" for his procurement talents, is the pilot):

Although he had a smaller part in it, The Great Escape is one of the best movies ever made.

I enjoyed all his work, and he seemed like a good guy.
