Reid is defensive for good and bad reasons--just as GOPs are offensive for good and bad reasons.

America falls and fails because of the over-reactions of the kind of people in this thread and their phony poutrage, just for starters.
Never a voice of reason or a solution from you people--just sarcastic moronic nonsense .
    Solution? Actually secure the border.

Correct, the border has never been secure and your childish finger pointing at Obama and your failure to hold Clinton and Bush accountable for insecure borders ensures continued open borders.
Have a look at post #67 while your at it.

These people are literally becoming circus clowns. The level of disrespect and arrogance they display every time they open their mouths is staggering. It's like they're having a secret contest amongst themselves to see who can tell the most outrageous lie and still get reelected... and the joke is on us!
Yea I think he already claimed all those things you mention! Crazy old coot that HReid

The establishment wing of the republican party is just as guilty because they are in bed with the Chamber of commerce, who wants cheap labor available. However major donors to progressive causes (George Soros) is an open borders guy. Not only do open borders progressives not want security, they don't want any enforcement at all.

And we agree. Big business isn't interested in secure borders and both parties pander to big business. So open borders it is. That want stop the partisan finger pointing though, they always stand too close to the picture.

We agree on the culprits, not the solution! No open borders! Enforcement and security needs to be stringent.

We agree on the solution too! I want the same as you do, SECURE BORDERS. I'm just saying that partisans in America far out way the neutral that are more interested in things being right than who's in power. And THEY won't hold their presidents and party controlled congresses accountable. They are to busy blaming each other. And don't think that politicians don't exploit this foolish partisan bickering. It's great for them. But then try to reason with one, they absolutely believe there party is white, (good) the other black, (bad).

Because we agree, let's start with this:

Hold the current administration accountable (Obama) and then all subsequent administrations. Are you with me? Because there is no point talking about Bush's responsibility in this, he is no longer in a position to do anything.

Well sure, that was an easy lift for you because I want this president held accountable as I did the one before and the one before that, and the one before that, etc. Now, go get the partisans on the left providing cover for this president. And then, next GOP administration, lets hold him/her accountable as well. Of course then we'll have the heavy lift of getting the partisan right to co-operate.
