As for G.W. Bush, one can translate the former military GCT into a IQ level and Bush's GCT was higher than John Kerry's GCT score.

    So you're making **** up.

Also everyone who had to deal with G.W. Bush when he was POTUS said Bush was smart, that he asked questions. Smart people are always asking questions. But there are some not so smart people who think asking questions is stupid.

Bush went to Ivy League colleges and earned grades. Obama can't say the same. In the private sector Bush was a businessman. In the private sector Obama was a community organizer.
Sounds like there's still some racism to be expunged. You can disagree with Obama's politics and policy all day long. You cannot deny that he's far more articulate than Bush, and doesn't embarrass us around the world as he did. Bush not being able to talk well, properly pronounce words or spell.

Yes, George W. Bush Was a Terrible President, and No, He Wasn’t Smart

They're a small but vocal minority who just so happen to hold enough votes to deny Bohner the speakership. If Boehner were to put reform up for a vote, they'd revolt, install some whackjob speaker and the house would go about shutting the government down, defaulting on our national debt, and cratering the US economy.
Ahh.. it's all the tea party's fault. You continue to illustrate the problem.

My view is the actual reality: Reid, Bohener and Obama are all to blame. None can be the adult in the room.

    THAT is reality.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

Did the senate pass bipartisan immigration reform? Yes.
Do a majority of house members support this bill? Yes.
Why doesn't the Boehner bring the bill forward? Fear of tea party rebellion in his party.

Sometimes both sides are to blame, sometimes the problem is purely one sided. In this case the problem is *CLEARLY* the effects that gerrymandering has had on the makeup of the house. It is not possible to effectively govern when a majority of the majority party live in districts in which the only possible challenge is from the more extreme elements of their base. Ignoring that is partisanship.

I do have to deny because Bush kept our enemies in awe, and our allies trusted America and Bush.

Where as with Obama I don't think there's one ally in the world today who now trust Obama or America. How many allies did Bush throw under the bus ? None.

All you have to do is look at the Middle east and Africa today, it's a complete basket case and it wasn't in 2008.
Look at China today. We are being challenged by China. When China rattled it's saber when Bush was POTUS, Bush responded by putting four Carrier Battle Groups near the Taiwan Straits while at the same time being able to have two CSG's in the 5th Fleet AOR still conducting combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. China quickly stopped rattling the saber and went back to the drawing board, how do we sink four carriers ?

Obama has troubles just keeping two carriers at sea.

Japan, South Korea, Australia, Philippines, Vietnam, India and the UK are all rebuilding their navies because Obama has allowed our Navy to become a hollow military force unable to go to sea and fight.

Bush didn't spit in the British face by returning the bust of Winston Churchill to the British Embassy. Obama did that.

Bush didn't bow at the waist of every monarch he came in contact with. Obama did that.

World leaders never laughed at Bush. World leaders do laugh at Obama.

Our enemies never laughed at Bush. Our enemies laugh at Obama.

Putin never laughed at or flipped the bird at Bush. Putin does it all the time with Obama.

U.S. Marines weren't ordered to remove the bolts from their rifles during Bush's inauguration parade. Obama did that.

Bush always allowed the military crew of Air Force One to spend Christmas at home with their families. Obama never has.

Bush earned the respect of those who wore the uniform and served under Bush's command as CnC. Obama couldn't earn the respect and probably doesn't give a ****.

Oh my goodness! He played POOL!!!! How DARE he do anything at all but work when we've got a crisis going on!!!! Although one must admit that it doesn't much compare with Dubya's playing golf while our soldiers were fighting and dying in Iraq...and Dubya also spent nearly one-third of his ENTIRE presidency at his ranch or at Camp David or other locations away from the White House.

One can only imagine what the Right would be saying if Obama were spending nearly one-third of his presidency away from the White House....

Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

But Bush didn't bow to a monarch. Not even an American civilian is required to bow to any King or Queen. Something to do with the American Revolution.

I believe every monarch in the world in the past 230 plus years are aware that American citizens are exempt from bowing at the waist.
Proper protocol for an American to recognized a monarch is the lowering of the head or a nod of the head.

I believe back when women were held in high esteem and respected, there was no problem bowing even at the waist to a woman. I have no problem with that but I'm not a lefty pussy and I protect women.

Are you kidding? I didn't have a problem with Bush 43 playing golf while the troops were in Iraq. Everyone - and especially the president, the one with the highest-pressure job on the planet - needs to blow off steam. They'd go crazy otherwise. It's the same reason that even in wartime our Navy ships conduct port visits, and our Army troops and Marines get R&R.

That said, if Obama had an (R) behind his name, considering everything he's done (especially for the economy), the GOP would be calling for his face to be added to Mount Rushmore. When it comes to the immigration issue, for instance, his administration has deported significantly more illegal immigrants than has occurred under any other administration. And while the significant dropoff over the years in illegal immigration has much more to do with economics than with policy, he has increased the number of agents on the border (though it seems the Right would have us think he's decreased the number of agents and opened the borders wide). The current spike with the children is not something that any of us saw coming - if you'll check, it's not only America that is seeing a spike in illegal immigration, but also Mexico, Costa Rica, and Panama, since other Central American nations are having such problems with violence.
