SOURCE: Feds to Bring in Riot Squad Against Illegal Immigration Protesters

then we would be consigning them to death.

Just to make it clear. I believe in two things.

This is what creates the conflict in my mind.

#1 They should be deported, law is law

#2 Immigration is retarded and needs reform

My mind is torn, but according to the law they should be deported, should that mean their death, well...

My biggest fight will be on many things, and immigration reform will definitely be one of them as I leave High school and reach voter age etc.

here is the thing though

deportation requires a legal hearing and that requires immigration courts.

the legal process for deportation is slow

3 issues with that.

#1 They'll just recross

#2 They're possible assets

#3 What it takes to become a citizen is borderline idiotic and hard.

NOT if Mexico deals with them. For folks not US bound Mexico is very hard assed about illegals in their own country. And number three is more of a whiners excuse considering over a million people a year become legal immigrants.

So be it. We can't save every person or everything. And your reasoning, in and of itself, is ludicrous.

Unitedwestand13...you're now aware of some of these children and their plight. If you don't do EVERYTHING in your power to improve their lives, then you're cosigning them to death.

Ahhh, you're doubling down on the What About the Children meme, how cute. Maybe you can get Sally Struthers to be your rep. Seriously, that's all on the host countries.

It is one of my moral principles, to not inflict unjust harm to someone who has already suffered greatly.

So you're in favor of people pushing for government policy based on their moral beliefs?

I know the law is the law.

But does there have to be feelings of hatred directed towards the kids who fled from Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras? Is it so wrong to show a shred of sympathy to these kids?

I think there is a very small amount of those that are upset with this that aer showing hatred directed TOWARDS the kids. There's hatred for the act, there's hatred for the seeming abeting that our government is doing in relation to the act, there's hatred perhaps for the parents who are basically leveraging their children as a betting chip to possibly get to the U.S. or who are here already and are more concerned with staying here and making their children go through the ordeal to get to them then simply going to them. But I don't think there's a lot of people actively hating the children.

There's a large difference between directing hatred at the children...and simply disagreeing that we should go "Well ****, just come on in and stay. Who the crap cares about the logistics or legality of it".

Though yes, more and more when people on the other side paint people who simply want "The law" as you put it enforced as singularly doing it because they "don't care about splitting up families", or suggesting it's because they're incapable of "sympathy", or assigning whatever other random negative and derogatory feature and motivation to them, then it becomes a lot more likely that the disagreement's are going to come more fervantly.

Absolute nonsense.

In al Salvador, gangs force boys to join up and beat the ones that refuse, the gangs force girls and women to become girlfriends for the gang members. If I had a son or daughter and that was the life my children could expect to endure, I would do anything to help them flee from such a fate.

I am not arguing for any of them to stay. The government is facing a humanitarian crisis with no simple answer.

I will agree with you on the notion that there's no SIMPLE answer. The answer here are all going to be challenging and are undoubtably going to leave any reasonable person feeling a bit uneasy. But ultimately, the choice from a NATIONAL perspective must be one based on what's best for THE NATION in accordance with our laws and in relation to our country and not based on individuals emotional notions or empathy on a micro level in this situation. This is, unfortunately, one of the reasons the POTUS and those at the high edges of government are our highest paid civil servents...because so many tough choices rest on their shoulders and it is their job and duty to put what's best for THE COUNTRY ahead of everything, even their own misgivings or guilt.

There's no way a decision will be made based on what's good for the nation.

"Americans who try to do the job Obama refuses to do."

Yeah let's take the law into our own hands!!!

*Looks at Zimmerman case*

On second thought, **** that.

Update: APACHERAT is still the most biased guy in the world that even Republicans can't stand him
What has he done to correct this? Jack ****

Zimmerman was an illegal child immigrant? Or was that that Martin guy?

The difference between the illegals crossing the border and Zimmerman is that the illegals are clearly illegal. Zimmerman apparently wasn't.

Apacherat may be among the top 5 most biased guy's, maybe not, but I see others on this forum way ahead of him.

There are so many things in your post that p*** so many people off because of its unfairness, that I'd better not comment until I calm down. One thing I will ask: How many of the illegals are going to be relocated to the DC, Chicago, Detroit, or San Francisco areas?

I see much trouble ahead, which is exactly why it's been done this way.

Greetings, APACHERAT. :2wave:

I see lots of room on Nancy Pelosi's Napa vinyard home for Refugee camps.

The simple answer is for Obama if publicly withdraw his cobbled together DREAM act. That is why all these children are flooding over the boarder.

So don't let them get off the bus. That's why we have checkpoints. Turn the busses around and send them back or dump them inside their respective embassies.

That's what happens if you try to enter any of the countries south of us without documentation.

I mean sure, three is a whiner's excuse, because it's a lot easier to learn english and us civics in Mexico as compared to Europe *cough cough hack*
