No, they are not. They are illegal aliens we never should have taken custody of in the first place. They should be held on the other side of the border. Hell, let Mexico deal with them.

Wrong and wrong. You want to frame the issue from a personal level when you know quite well it isn't, it's a group issue of governments and nations. The same use of framing is peppered throughout all the open borders propo.

There is no declared war in any of the South American nations. There has ALWAYS been elements of rampant violence there. We are not their spillover state.

the governments of honduras, el salvador, and Guatemala have no control over the chaos caused by gang violence and corruption. the situation for families living in those countries is so bad that they choose to send their children away in order for the kids to have a better chance of survival.

I think if they were legitimately fleeing violence, their parents would accompany them... I think the parents are sending them in hopes of them becoming anchor babies of sorts.


I have no problem with temporary housing ( we don't need to be spending millions or billions when we have plenty of GP tents available). provided it's actually temporary
at some point, though, folks are going to have to be "un-humanitarian" and kick 'em out... open borders aren't going to happen, and you can only stave off the inevitable for so long.


as for "send em back when it's safe"... that won't fly.... you're basically saying " give them citizenship as an award for breaking our laws".
central America has been a ****hole for decades and decades and decades... with China and Russia now converging there to exploit the people and resources.., it will probably get worse, rather than better.

Right. Save the violence for American citizens who are rightfully here; and who are trying to defend their homes and their communities from a flood of invading foreign criminals aided by the very same government whose duty it is to keep these criminals out.

The young children are being targeted by gangs (some are gang raped if they don't join up) and some of them come to the U.S. to find their parents.

So I would say both stories are true.

Illegal aliens have come here in all shapes sizes ages and genders for many reasons there is not really a traditional one.

It is not " our hemisphere and Mexico can get their own house in order we do not need the refugees. Apparently many do not want them in their own community and that wish should be respected by the government which is ignoring the law it is supposed to enforce.

I believe the decleration of Independence states some accusations about the King not enforcing laws for the well being of Americans. If it was justifiable to rebel against THAT government for that and other reasons what is so different about this situation?

That's what right-wing nuts fear. More democratic voters. They hate abortion and love children, but just not these children. After all, they come from working class people who will probably see through their right-wing BS and actually become democrats.
