Then arrest the helicopter pilot and everyone on board and exchange them for Sgt. Tahmooressi, or shoot down the next Mexican choppers to accidentally cross the border and tell the Mexican government to go pound salt.

How come we didn't know a Mexican helicopter was in our airspace until it was shooting at our agents? This sort of thing could be remedied in five minutes by Obama with his phone, no pen needed. I'd call the Mexican president and tell him one more "mistake" like that and I'll send our helicopters over the border to kill every Mexican soldier they can find, and maybe some M1 tanks as well to help break things.

I'm glad nobody was hurt in this incident, but it does seem that our killing people in foreign countries around the world by way of airborne drones rather sets an example for other governments regarding shooting at people from the air.

No you need to read it because it's Obama's job to secure the borders, and provide security of the border patrol. Or maybe you like seeing our border agents get shot up, hmmm? What I proposed was a valid threat aimed at their president, nowhere did I mention nukes...............that's obviously your ridiculous fantasy.

That isn't Obama's job, he isn't the first line in air traffic control or border patrol. But we also don't know if the Mexican authorities alerted us either.

Sounds like the actions of a terrorist, the whole taking hostages and all. Last I checked the US govt isn't a terrorist organization.

Seems of late CONs love the misdirection, 2 shots fired, not an attempt to mimic a 'gun' fight but more like a coyote (4 footed type) hunter. Chopper lands and makes contact to apologize. But out in the boonies it takes more than crossing the border to be 'safe' from detection and intervention.

Now did 'everyone' go to the 2 shots fired, or are you just blowing smoke with some CON game 'what-ifs'????

No, you love seeing our border agents and soldiers get shot up when a Democrat is in office. You hate America and its servicemen. You want to turn America into a nation that behaves like some street gang. You hate everything we stand for.

No cordinating front line activities at the border is not Obama's job. Nor is cordinating ATC across the country either. Yes he should talk to the Mexician government about the incident, but handling day to day operations of numerous government agencies is a little
silly.
