Oh yeah, sure.....the most Transparent Administration, Evaaa! What say ye?

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the IRS share a problem: officials say they cannot provide the emails a congressional committee has requested because an employee’s hard drive crashed. EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy confirmed to the House Oversight Committee Wednesday that her staff is unable to provide lawmakers all of the documents they have requested on the proposed Pebble Mine in Alaska, because of a 2010 computer crash.

“We’re having trouble getting the data off of it and we’re trying other sources to actually supplement that,” McCarthy said. “We’re challenged in figuring out where those small failures might have occurred and what caused them occur, but we’ve produced a lot of information.” “We have tried to serve a subpoena on your former employee and we have asked for the failed hard drive from this Alaskan individual who now is in New Zealand, and seems to never be returning,” Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), the committee’s chairman, said Wednesday.

Emails provided by the committee show that EPA told congressional investigators about the hard drive crash months ago. But McCarthy said she only told the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) about the problem Tuesday. The NARA enforces the Federal Records Act, which governs federal agencies’ responsibilities to maintain records.

Rep. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) said EPA probably violated the Federal Records Act by not backing up North’s emails.

This is just ****ing sad. Can't wait to hear the spin on this one from the left. Look, I get it you hate the right and think we're evil racist blah blah.

Take a moment and look what your side of the isle is doing. Take a good look. Emails don't disappear, unless you REALLY want them too.

Ask yourself, liberal/progressive/democrats. Do you honestly believe all these lost emails are just bad luck? Do you have some creeping doubts yet?

I worked for the feds several years. The hell of this is that emails are permanently stored on the main drive, not on the individual's computer. In fact, you are only give a small amount of storage on your computer and you have to keep deleting emails, or IT will shut down your ability to use email. Who do they think they are bull****ting. They can pull up any email they want from the main drive.

There is no such thing as coincidence is this matter.

As several have mentioned, and someone else mentioned to me, not only are they on the mail email server (which is not an individual hard drive) but I believe they are supposed to maintain paper files including emails pertaining to a particular subject.

Not to mention the guy that's in New Zealand isn't coming back.....and in a coincidincy this last Week BO was just meeting with the Prime Minister of New Zealand. Imagine that.....huh?

Heya Vic :2wave: and they knew of this months ago. Unbelievable. These guys aren't Keystone Cops.....their Keystone Crooks.

Damn, and it's my favorite two agencies - the IRS and EPA. And just when they were about to hit their stride in over-running the public. What a shame. Anybody sensing a pattern yet?

Its not really funny, but I think back to Chenny meeting with the oil companies and excluding the sierra club on energy policy discussions. The leftist had cows galore over that and demanded transcripts and names of who met with the VP (like it was any of their business) and when Dick refused they through such a hissy fit. Now the opposition just wants the correspondence between bureaucrats and the regime has to resort to my "dog ate it."

I doesn't get more pathetic.

Obama's meeting aside, if he was a former employee, regardless of where he is on the globe, he can be subpoenaed. He can ignore it, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Even more pathetic is those from the left they don't have anything to say about it Always talking about Law yet not when it applies to their side of the divide, huh?

Now we tend to notice how some things fall with a set of 3. Wonder which will be the next agency that can't produce whats been Subpoenaed.

I notice the leftists make themselves pretty scarce here. For a while, I thought this was almost entirely a conservative forum. If they do participate, it is usually, nothing more than a few jabs, never a post with content or a link to back up their beliefs. I've pretty much given them an engraved invitation and all they do is invite me outside to duke it out! LOL. Not my style.

Yes, its called the new normal.

Didn't you know the end justifies the mean when it comes to liberal politics?

Doesn't the NSA have all this backed up somewhere? Hahah.

But this is par for the course, government is never held responsible for its transgressions.

`
While I am no fan of Issa's self-serving dog and pony show, I agree, this is just too damn coincidental. I don't trust Obama, his administration nor their excuses.

I think I found the Next agency that will be losing Emails and or having a Hardrive crash MA. :2wave: .....

Obama has put on hold a review of immigration policy by the Department of Homeland Security.....snip~

http://www.debatepolitics.com/immig...is-2014-open-discussion-5.html#post1063449712

With thousands of unvaccinated unaccompanied children coming into the US and being dispersed throughout the country Barry definitely has himself a big can of worms. I think prior to this most Americans griped about immigration, but no one really had any motivation to insist the government DO something about it. Barry is running scared. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a big ole stop watch counting down the seconds until he is officially out of office. When he is, I hope the next administration blames every problem in the US on HIM.

Honestly, what are they going to do? That's the real pathetic part about this. I bet there are going to be words and political pressure onto these people, but I wouldn't be surprised that no jail time will be served. And nothing is going to be done about it, because we are basically entrusting the government to oversee itself.

And Americans will do nothing about it. We are raising families, working 40+ hours a week, and gorging products and services.

What scares me the most is the fact that Washington is flaunting that they can do whatever they wish, and they know it. That is what people should be concerned about. If this works out with minimal casualties you better believe people are taking notes so they can increase their corruption.

While I can understand political motivations.....with BO, its him thinking he is above the LAW!

Unreal, indeed! Other than Obama, does anyone listen to what she says? Besides, many Dems, as well as Repubs, don't want any new immigration reform laws - they are asking why the current law is not being enforced! Since Obama has decided to send illegals all over the country, watch what happens when American children are exposed to sick or diseased immigrant children who have not had the benefit of vaccinations and other preventative medicine, and they start getting sick from skin diseases, as a small example, not seen here in years! Obama and Valerie will have some 'splaining to do!

Greetings, MMC. :2wave:

Did you check what else has been put up in that thread? Like it was mentioned before.....the Press is going to get all up with the Humanitarian Crisis. Trying to influence Congress to get something done about it.

How can he just hold off a review and a report and think.....that none will notice about what he did in 2012?
