I'm sure it will still be covered in RE classes.

Yeah that's what some think.....but then if we are looking at History. Then.....History will be re-written again. Like it has been several times.

Sure, but that is history and it was re-written based on accepted and proven facts. It is not biology and it is not based on pseudo-science.

If there ever will be proof positive that there have been aliens before we can comment about it in history, before that it is nothing more than speculation and conjecture.

Well, that's why Historians do check with the Military with Associations to Governments belonging to Countries. More than likely why its been re-written several times already.

This stuff probably shouldn't be taught in hard science classes. It would be foolish, though, to not make it available. Denying human spirituality is denying reality.

According to a press release from the British Humanist Association (BHA), the new rules “explicitly require that pupils are taught about the theory of evolution, and prevent academy trusts from teaching ‘creationism’ as scientific fact.”

Not even Intelligent Design — the favored faux-scientific theory of American creationists who wish to import biblical beliefs into public school classrooms — can be taught, as “creationism” is defined by the new rule as “any doctrine or theory which holds that natural biological processes cannot account for the history, diversity, and complexity of life on earth and therefore rejects the scientific theory of evolution.”.....snip~

and some people believe in mermaids and ancient aliens.....but that doesn't make it so. There is no room anywhere for intelligent design. Even one of its leading supporters agreed it is not science.

Yeah, I saw that and it's a good thing. Students can make any connections between science and religion on their own if they see common ground.
