No, he's to blame for allowing that strife to enter here. And yes to that last, the whole wet foot, dry foot nonsense is just that.

Why does that matter, this POTUS and Atty General have already showed contempt for any governor making any action against illegals.
 
We should just say that they made a "wrong turn into the country" and put them in prison. Before anyone says that the Marine had guns with him and broke the law, these ILLEGALS broke the law also.

Empty all of the detention centers and dump the bodies on the major crossings. Shoot everything that moves along the border right down to the bugs, literally.
Mine the entire border on the Mexican side and use the nasty kind that have counters or delays and smart mines that are discriminatory. Use automated mobile gun systems with a designated kill box. Leave the bodies of everything killed were it lays. The crossings will stop, because there will be hardly anyone left who would wish to try.

As you can see stopping the crossings will require a ruthlessness and cruelty that we as Americans now just don't have. The other two options are to A) to continue as we are, the status quo or B) we attempt to integrate the rest of the Americas into our country preemptively, by actively courting them to join us as states and merge with us. Considering that the status quo is a nonstarter and we are not ruthless bastards, we need to consider seriously option B) which is option A) but we get benefit of the situation as a nation visa vi land and resources which we can take advantage of not to mention it reduces the diaspora of people coming north as we will be coming south for the opportunities that will open up converting third world nations into first world territories and states.

Personally I am an SOB and would order their wholesale extermination at the border and film it and spread the news far and wide. It sends the message if we are pushed too far we will react in very unpleasant ways.

I am also a realist and no people like you exist that think you are a good caring human being. You are. Unfortunately those who would send these children are not and only know one thing. We cannot absorb this many people without suffering severe consequence. At what point do you say enough? Action must be taken. The question is what kind. Personally I know people will balk at killing mass numbers of people to make a point. The status quo is untenable. That leaves another option which is to absorb the countries which are sending these people so we at least get some benefit and perhaps open up opportunity. We need to start adding stars to the flag again. Bring the dream of America to the rest of the Americas and maybe end up a permanent superpower in the process. Radical problems require radical thinking. We need to start really thinking way outside or very small box.

We don't have to go hunt and kill to go extreme. There's a much more effective way. The extreme answer: they may not come from Mexico, but they do come THROUGH Mexico, and often with the help of Mexican citizens. For every illegal we catch here 10K comes off the trade payments to Mexico.

The Green Extreme answer: for every illegal we find here, 100 barrels of oil less we'll accept from the Mexican fields for refinement. That last would put an end to the problem PDQ.
 
Th easiest way to put an end to this is to immediately deport all illegals within a 72 hour time frame of capture.

So you're going to stunt their development even more, leading to an even worse economic situation which would make EVEN MORE people EVEN MORE desperate to get across the border.

Desperation in those countries is a fact of life already. Fining the Mexican government isn't going to change that one way or the other. What it may change is that government's permissive attitude regarding those USA bound.

Yes, we have a need for migrant labor. That has nothing to do with illegals. Migrants are seasonal and covered by visa. Migrants go home when the season is done.

That is for immigrants, migrants are a whole different thing, as are illegal aliens. That's the difference between you and me, one of us knows that words have meanings.

Doesn't sound overly emotional to me, just sounds like he is operating with a decent moral compass... a much more desirable trait than a simple knack for logic.

There have been many complaints pied up over time with these types of accusations. I think an investigation needs to brought forward to this, and that the way we treat immigrants while in custody needs some major reform. If any of these accusations show to be true, then we need major overhaul in how we detain undocumented immigrants. [/FONT][/COLOR]

Sadly I cannot say that I am surprised that such things could occur. Our prison system, while not exactly the same is in many ways very similar, is rife with mistreatment as described much of which is either not being reported or ignored when it is. I mean after all most people do not feel a lot of remorse for a convicted criminal and are willing turn a blind eye. When people are given complete power over others abuses tend to eventually happen.

He is accusing me of wanting to deny people basic human rights based off of.... what? I never indicated anything of the sort. He is obviously NOT operating with a decent moral compass as he is falsely accusing me of a horrible thing. Try again and read for comprehension.

I think you misread the bolded. I didnt say has or did occur but rather could. I feel that these accusations just as all reports of prison mistreatment should be investigated.
