I was actually shocked as it didn't contain the level of hate that a MM film does. Some of the paths he took were a bit off, but realistically people generally grow up to be who their influences were, or pretty close.

I found it more interesting that now that it is 2 years old, it seems some of the 'direction' he said Obama would take seems to kinda be heading that way.

You can take it (and MM type stuff) or leave it… no doubt one side will swear by it, and others will just shrug it off and call names. I find that quite often there tends to be at least a little seed of truth in most of it, you just have to filter out the 99% crap that is in most of it. But of course, true partisans can't be bothered with such things, it's far easier to simply dismiss all of it or call the writers/directors idiots or some such.

Edit: Now that I have responded and seen the other responses… LOL, hit the target on those.
I haven't been keeping up with D'Souza lately--so depressing, and I met and talked with him years ago and was impressed. Without a point in the OP beyond a taunt, this thread is following a predictable path--the ad hom attack and the suggestion that because D'Souza was found guilty of campaign fraud, whatever he says is "made up." Next is the overgeneralized rhetorical question of why so many on the right "buy into this crap" when whatever the "crap" is hasn't even been identified and "your side does it too."

Would anybody like to discuss what's at the link, for example, D'Souza framing his thesis around de Tocqueville and Michel Foucault?

This seems to be your dismissive nature again, no facts, no contrary discussion just your opinion stated as a fact. That is how the extreme left roles.

"Contrary discussion" to your ludicrous notion that the "left" wants to "third world" the United States? Sorry, but that notion is so asinine it merits no discussion. It's garbage. So yeah, you're goddamn right I'm dismissive of it.

Dinesh made that case quite well. Your dismissal of his research and claims proves my earlier point about you.
