    Ok, maybe Washington will agree with you. Four decades of supporting militant Islamic groups hasn't had that effect yet, but maybe we just need to be patient.

    Yeah, the problem there isn't that we were selling them jets (we weren't), it's that we were selling them stuff much more useful for guerrilla warfare...like explosives, training, RPGs, etc.

    I recall hearing stories when I was stationed at K-2 Airbase about training dogfights between Phantoms and Falcons. No clear winner overall. One is faster, the other more maneuverable.

    Like their infantry we can expect the pilots to bail out and surrender at the first sight of pigeons. Our business in Iraq reminds me of a man sinking in quicksand.
