Read Snowden’s comments on 9/11 that NBC didn’t broadcast

Keeping in mind that Snowden has no documents with him, are we to believe he remembers all this stuff word for word and that he read millions of documents?

Like Joe Turner (Robert Redford) in the movie Three Days of the Condor.

Mind you - there is an entity out there quietly collecting endless data on you, your behavior, your history, your communications, your activities, beliefs, and so forth in order to mold your behavior. That entity is called "Google.

Competent or not, the US government invading citizen's privacy and collecting private data should be a concern for everyone.

I have two words for the man, Mr. Snowden, who exposed corrupt government covert activities directed at US citizens, ruining his life by those actions.

Thank you!

Oh. Is that what you intend to tell the families of the fallen soldiers in Afghanistan, given that our ability to protect them by collecting on the Taliban was severely damaged by Mr Snowden? Would you care to defend all the other crap he's spilled?

Apparently we had all the info we needed on these 9/11 terrorists,

This isn't exactly news; with the caveat that "all the info we needed" is an INCREDIBLY subjective notion that frankly Snowden does not have the ability to know objectively. But the idea that we had plenty of information on the 9/11 attacks prior to those attacks is an old one. Indeed, it's one of the primary things that helped lead to the USA PATRIOT Act coming to pass. Part of the issue was what was known within the intelligence community as the Gorelick Wall; short hand for a memo issued by then Deputy AG Jamie Gorelick severely limiting the ability of law enforcement/military/federal prosecutors from sharing information with each other.

....wait. Firstly, you do realize that when you are citing RT you are literally citing the government that is currently using Snowden for it's own ends?

Sure. I'm using RT. Also there are several other sources reporting on what he said on this issue as well. But there is no proof that Snowden and the Russian government are collaborating.

I can't understand why intelligent people are willing to give away their rights to the US government.

What possible good could come from Big Brother having access to all its citizens communications? You may trust your handlers but I do not.

What I will say to the US government is find a way to kill the enemy without trampling the rights of US citizens.

War has become too politically correct. If the US is going to war then they should be in it to win it. Otherwise, go home.

It really is amazing how right-wingers/conservatives are willing to trust their government in this case, but they do nothing but rant about how un-trustworthy our government is in every other instance.

What if you yourself are a "handler" though? And lots of your friends are? And you've worked in that business for many years? What then?

lol okay? The point is some people don't need to "trust their handlers" because they're not idiots that have some come book-type thinking.

And that's what Snowden is. He didn't trust his handlers because of some book-type of thinking.

Above your head?

lol must've been. I thought we were talking about people who didn't believe in EVAL GUBMINT. Who did you think we were talking about?

English please...

I'll dumb it down for you: some people aren't "afraid of their handlers" because they actually have some experience and know how the process works. They're what you'd call "handlers" (I would assume because your paranoid) and they're just regular people, who know the other "handlers" are also regular people. They don't adhere to some goofy, grade school-level thinking wherein a room full of shadowy figures in suits runs the world.

And then there's people who are in fact, idiots who have no experience and don't know how it works. They're the type of people who think they have "handlers".

Do you get it now? Let me know if you need me to draw you a picture.

It's not about 'shadowy figures'. Any citizen who calls out the government on crimes that they are committing has absolutely zero chance to win against the crime committing government, and you know that.

Stop being dopey, and we can have a real discussion.

Totally honest: I doubt you're capable of it. Did you read your posts? Shoot, I did: if you haven't done it, I wouldn't recommend it. Don't do it, man, you said some dumb ****. It could become recursive for you, ya know?

Any citizen who tries to point out that the face of Teddy Roosevelt climbs off of Mount Rushmore and rapes innocent South Dakotans is also facing a tough challenge, but the point is just because I think that that happens, and just because you think the bolded from your post happened, doesn't mean it's true. Are you getting that? Do you understand that your whole position is based upon a personal opinion that you have that the actual legislative branch disagreed with?

You have a low IQ, so your thoughts don't really matter. You're allowed to make your comments in the name of equality, but no one takes them seriously, and I'd bet that even you know that.
