There is no fast food restaurant, aside form a rare few, that accepts tips. Period. That alone destroys your silly argument. I have worked fast food. An employee is directly instructed to not accept them.

Why not protest against that? Then those who want to pay more for garbage can do so.

Because I believe minimum wage should be increased.

One of the biggest protests globally in solidarity with eachother all revolving around raising the minimum wage. I support these protests, and believe not only should the minimum wage but one of the most profitable industires should be paying their employees much much better. Im behind the $15 demand.
these people are not realistic. if they expect their hourly wage to be increased, so shouldn't everyone else get the same kind of increase?

look at the millions of people who pay for a college education and go into debt in the 10's of thousands of dollars and these people want a wage that is equivalent to a college educated person first starting out in a new job!

Nice try, but you don't know enough to get your targeting right. I'm a Vietnam vet and have volunteered at the veteran's hospitals wherever I live since. Also volunteered locally to put together care packages for the GIs in the field.

Thats what they are calling for an increase in the minimum wage.

Wait, what does that have to do with anything?

I repeat, according to your own rules of life, anybody who supports a military incursion into Afghanistan must go there and do the job. Same with those who support war anywhere else. This is the rule you set up, not me. Support a policy => shut up and do it.

Again, you've worked in the industry, you should know how to tip those workers without triggering management. I've done it, I know for a fact it's possible. Your support only seems to last until you reach your first obstacle. I'm guessing the FF workers are thrilled by your support.

Go back and read, said nothing of the sort. It's YOU who have manufactured some bizzarro strawman from what I posted.

Abolish minimum wage. If these folks were worth more then they'd get the heck out of fast food and go find a job with a better salary.
