Only as low as costs will bear. Labor is a cost.

Why would you pay someone like that $15?

More fast food workers need to grow a pair and unionize, otherwise they will never have enough leverage to negotiate a decent wage. Like Walmart workers, until they do that, it is difficult for me to have any sympathy for them.

Yep. If you're living on minwage, you need to sacrifice. No extra spending, get two jobs, and go to night school. Welcome to life. There is no such thing as a free lunch.

Thankfully there are states that have right to work laws to prevent unionization.

Why so surprised? I don't set the rate, the market does. How could you justify paying a fast food worker $15p/hr when a computer tech is getting $14p/hr? I think that is a huge flaw in the leftist agenda, they never think of the consequences of their actions. You should walk through what might happen if there was such a huge increase in wages for such a low value job with plentiful labor supply. can you think of any effects that might have?

RTW laws do not prevent unionization. There are unions in RTW states. Under RTW it still takes a significant number of dumbasses to act against their own best interests to undermine the unions.

RTW just means that unions have a hell of a hard time scamming workers into forking over cash so the union big wigs can live the good life. Unions are so great, look what they did to Detroit!
