Not the point. They're in a struggle for a higher wage right now, you support them in that, so do it. You know how to slide a tip over the counter. That the restaurant doesn't allow tips or that there's no tip jar is just a lame excuse. If you support them, then do so.

I was talking about YOU, not calling this a socialist issue.

So I'm assuming you would say to all those who favour America to go to war that they should enlist and fight?

One of the biggest protests globally in solidarity with eachother all revolving around raising the minimum wage. I support these protests, and believe not only should the minimum wage but one of the most profitable industires should be paying their employees much much better. Im behind the $15 demand.
I feel sympathetic, but I don't understand how flipping burgers should pay $15/hr. It's also usually part time with no benefits. I go to McDs sometimes just to avoid a tip and save a couple of bucks. Then I feel guilty and go to a local Restuarant to balance my kharma.

Yep, and I'll win the lottery.

Yup. Or at the very least give material support to those who do.

How about you explain your negative reaction. ON what premise is this a bad idea. You so gungho with your sarcasm almost as if you don't think there is no counter argument that refutes every argument that insists on increasing minimum wage would be trouble.

This should be called the "Really Stupid People's Strike." No matter the outcome, it will end very badly.

How about first YOU explain why you don't really want to support these folks in this struggle when it comes to actual dollars leaving your pocket?

No. You have just told a person to pay a fast food worker if they want to see them earn more, that means all war-mongers would have to be suited and booted ready for deployment to Afghanistan. This is clownboy's world of "if you support a policy, shut up and do it".
