Well, true, but it will only happen when automation becomes a cheaper alternative than hiring employees. By calling for a raise in their wages they only accelerate their obsolescence.

The one here in Austin (TX) had exactly 3 FF workers and about 30 activists and labor union members. SEIU prolly.

$15 per hour would pay for a lot of robot employees that don't (yet) bitch.

You want more money? Go earn it, by making yourself worth more money.
That is not a concept they can understand.

    HELL no!!

btw you didn't address the points i made.
But what you make doesn't matter. Only people that are making minimum wage are important.

That is what we get from these types of stupid strikes.

More purchasing power for a larger percentage of the population within a consumer economy = healthier consumer economy.

You didn't mention AAP's. An Associate of Applied Science in Network Admin is very valuable. Other AAPs are as well.

MSNBC is terrible but their bigotry isn't as bad as FOX.
You should stop listening to President Obama so much.

There can certainly be some modernization and computerization of the fast food industry that could occur, particularly if wages are forced too high. The cashier can be replaced with a computer.
You know the time is right to take control, we gotta take offense against the status quo
