Teen ejected from prom after dads experience ‘impure thoughts’

A bunch of old men had to kick a young girl out of the prom because they couldn't handle their lust for her, like that's somehow her fault. Pathetic.

Read up--please get the facts.

Wow, the internet is confused today.

In some screaming headlines she was kicked out for provocatively dancing.
In others it was because her dress was too short.
In others it was because of all of the horny fathers.

I'm surprised that no rag is screaming that she was kicked out because her boyfriend is black (which he is).

Well, I linked to the kid's sister's blog, so anybody who wants to read what Clare Haenninger herself said surely can.

Might help if you read the thread before you took your foolish stand. The OP is a lie.

You know what's really pathetic and awful? The FB page for that prom had to be taken offline because they were getting inundated with hate posts. The FB page was for the kids who attended, and why do the other kids have to be punished because a bunchy of moonbats are declaring the organizers of the prom haters, perverts, sick ****s, etc., and attacking them online?

A kid says a bunch of men were getting erections because of her, and everyone takes her at her word. And her sister, with the gigantic agenda as evidenced by her blog, "backed her up" (not sure how, but so she claims).

I find the entire thing not believable after reading around on this story.

Again, you might have a point IF this were a public school prom. But again, this was the wrong time and wrong place for that behavior. This was the Richmond Homeschool Prom.

So what? There are many ideas at home.:peace

So's spreading your legs and masturbating to the beat, but that doesn't mean it belongs, in its purest form, at a prom. Usually a gentleman's club.

Tsk tsk. Our parents thought the same of us . . . so long ago.:peace

Don't know about you and your prom, but I recall being eager to get the heck out of there and proceed to the evening's sublime activities. Didn't care two ****s about the dancing.

A teen is being punished because a few 'dads' had impure thoughts? I don't think it would have mattered what the teen wore if these dads can't control their own impure thoughts.

Are women responsible for men's thoughts? That's a lot of control, if it is.

Perhaps the dads need to get some professional help to overcome their impure thoughts before they act on them with their own daughters. They're the ones that should have been 'ejected' for not controlling their own behavior.

We've already seen the lie, why go on with it? This had nothing whatsoever with the dads' thoughts.

Again, why are you clinging to this OP being anything but a lie for propo? She says she was ejected for the dress. Lie. She was ejected for her provocative dance. The OP says it was because the dads were getting hot under the collar, another lie.

Perspective. No. Not a lie. A matter of perspective.

And you repeat the same debunked post as before. The lies have been shown. Again, why continue to back the lie?

Direct quote from Clare.

“We were also a little grossed out by all the dads on the balcony above the dance floor, ogling and talking amongst themselves,” Ettinger notes.

Pretty soon, Mrs. D approached Ettinger and ordered her off the dance floor “into a corner in the hallway” Along with another woman, Mrs. D explained that “some of the dads who were chaperoning had complained that my dancing was too provocative, and that I was going to cause the young men at the prom to think impure thoughts.”

Oh, stop it. Every "wrong" doesn't translate into a lawsuit, for God's sake. That's part of what's wrong with people in this country. "Cha-Ching Cha-Ching let the cash register ring."

The woman who asked her to leave should be ashamed of herself.

:agree: Personally, she sounds a lot like one of the busybodies from "The Music Man" - those that demanded that Marian the Librarian get rid of the "dirty" books on the library shelves written by Chaucer, Rabelais and Balzac! If the dress in the picture is the one that the girl wore, I don't see anything wrong with it! Give me a break! And to ask her to leave the dance because some men had "impure" thoughts makes me wonder how they function at all in today's "anything goes" society! :lamo:

Greetings, MaggieD. :2wave:
