I think the term "inappropriately" will be relative in this case. They probably won't tell you if it was "twerking" or any other grinding, so what the dance supposedly was is in the eye of the beholder. It may be a bit of a stretch to presume that the inappropriate dancing is thus a certain style of dance, without any proof.

It's also a bit of a stretch to believe the teenager involved. Without any proof.

My misunderstanding. I had erroneously thought it was a public school. Sorry.

Good, because I haven't decided to believe any of it. As I implied, it could be that she was dancing provocatively, or it could be the men are pervs

It's not like men are never pervy.

Like even a very-very thin pancake, every story has two sides. One of the articles I read said that she was dancing inappropriately. THAT I can believe. No matter. I haven't seen any article that reports anything except what the girl said. And she did not say anything about her dancing inappropriately, What she did say is that Mrs D (the chaperone who also checked her dress *before* she even entered the prom) told her that she had complaints from the men who thought her dancing was causing them to have "impure thoughts"

Men do not have to see a girl dance inappropriately in order to have impure thoughts. As a man, I know that is not required.

Re: Teen ejected from prom after dads experience ‘impure thoughts’

Of her story anyways (as others have mentioned it may not be 100% true), I have my doubts about it being the men who got her kicked out. It sounded like Mrs. D had issues with her from the beginning and probably looking for an excuse to kick her out. It is also possible that isn't the case and it was something else she isn't telling.

It isn't helped by the title, or how she made it sound like from the get go she (the girl kicked out) thought the male chaperones were there just to ogle and apparently talking among themselves must mean they are talking about who they want to bang if the girls were older (okay added the last part, but so what if they were talking with each other? I didn't realize people aren't allowed to talk anymore). Or the fact she apparently first posted on facebook about it being "rape culture" and in her post on her sisters blog it is also now "slut shaming." Reading her sister's blog, I'm not that surprised though. Yes her sister makes some good points now and then, but damn is she pretty over the top a lot of the time (my opinion).

I like how on the update post, either her or her sister add a link to a paypal you can donate to for her (the 17 year old) books for college. Give them credit for being smart about taking advantage of the situation even if I think it is also...can't think of a word here but I don't agree with doing it. The latest post the one running the blog leaves a small blurb at the end about how she'd like if someone paid for a ticket so she could go to her sisters graduation. Now considering she mentioned prior to all this having a tip jar, I suppose it is harsh to assume it is just to take advantage of the situation (the plane ticket).

EDIT: The dancing inappropriately thus causing impure thoughts, could also be the chaperones thought (or Mrs. D, etc.) that she was dancing inappropriately and the girl combined it with her thoughts the chaperones were there to ogle teen girls and whack off (...last part added by me) that it must be because they think she is too hot and get turned on by her. Which isn't out of the realm considering how she did go out of her way to let the reader know how hot she looked.
