Pretty sure the NSA revealed that it doesn't matter how you're designated as long as you're foreign. Aside from blocking travel, but that's a bit useless in this boko situation.
Probably so, but we can't really make use of that information, as far as a military response is concerned.

direct military aid to nigeria may be complicated by existing law.

we cannot send direct aid to any foreign military guilty of human rights abuses.

Not maybe, but rather, is. We're already having problems because of that. Thanks to the hand wringers.

I'm pretty sure the reason we are all outraged at the NSA is because they did violate the trust of the American people. But that doesn't mean that every agency and every sector of the government participated.

Meta-data collection and special warrants for known terrorists communicating from outside the country to someone in the country.

Nothing wrong there. Get over it.

I'm fine with that. But the NSA collected data from millions of citizens without warrants and without probable cause. They just collected it. Now, I've seen nothing saying they used it. But they are not supposed to have it.

You're confused. There was metadata and there were special warrants for known terrorists communicating from outside the country to someone inside. That's all.

Seriously, enough with the drummed up drama. Your entire hysteria is based on "but what COULD happen?!". That's a stupid premise. Anything could happen, at any time to anyone. That's not cause for subscribing to Alex Jones.

Of course since this is none of our business I'm sure you, as a conservative, will advocate that the Nigerian government take personal responsibility for their own internal affairs.
