No, they don't, and the fact you think I do just illustrates your hyperpartisanship. Nor do all Republicans hold homogenous views.

Okay. If you want to keep asserting falsehoods, be my guest.

You're also moving the goalposts. Both parties routinely get very high percentages from registered party voters. That does mot mean 100% ideological purity.

I don't attack my constituents. Bob is my constituent now.
This is the important stuff. We canít get lost in discrimination. We canít get lost in B.S. We canít get lost tearing each other down. I want to make a point here that no matter what you look like, where you come from, how you worship, who you love, how you identify, and yeah, how you run, that if you have good public policy ideas, if you are well qualified for office, bring those ideas to the table, because this is your America, too. This is our commonwealth of Virginia, too.

Whatever, Kobie. Deny the fact that black conservatives are a minority of a minority that attracts brazen abuse.

    From Walter E. Williams:

It's always been my contention that the conservative vision shows far greater respect for blacks than the liberal you-can't-make-it-without-us vision. For decades there have been buy-off-the-black-vote presidential appointments like secretaries of labor, health and human services, education, and housing. But it's been conservative presidents who have appointed blacks to top positions of responsibility and authority such as Secretary of State, National Security Advisor, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Republican presidents didn't make these appointments to buy off the black vote. They chose the best people around who just happened to be black Americans. Conservatives, Liberals and Blacks

I admire the students for making their positions known in regards to the ideology Condi is branded with. It is good that they have rejected such thought as those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.

I admire Condi for handling this gracefully and acknowleging that commencement is a place for celebration and not a stump for controversy. Perhaps another place or time, but not commencement.

Imagine if they had Fidel Castro speaking at Harding University. I imagine the blowback would be the same from a rightwing leaning university. That's why I don't buy the "Libbos against free speech," argument.
You admire students that got their way by stamping their feet and out shouting anyone they disagree with. They are scum that will never amount to crap.

There's a man I adore. Smart, smart man with no chip on his shoulder. Blacks would do well to emulate him.

These dopey kids had a right to protest, but they missed a golden opportunity. I've sat through hundreds of live speeches by people whose politics I abhor - everyone from Barack Obama to Madeline Albright to Tom Daschle to Michael Dukakis to Walter Mondale, and on and on. And every single time I did, I took something away from it - I learned something. Damn shame these kids blew this opportunity. I guess they're too wrapped up in The Vagina Monologues, Justin Bieber and other useless ****. No wonder they come out of school and can't find jobs.
