Well yeah but sometimes it causes a situation to be downplayed. Throwing rocks at someone is now "bullying" and not "assault"

I was being semi-facetious, but to your point... sure. Then again, it can also be used to overplay a situation, too.
If you claim sexual harassment to be wrong, yet you defend anyone on your side for any reason,
then you are a hypocrite and everything you say on the matter is just babble.

well, I don't many ****s about this whole issue... but i probably would not shop at a store with these stickers on their windows.

I'm not in the market to buy political or societal issue opinions, so advertising yours won't win me as a customer.

it's probably wiser , as a businessperson, to focus on your goods and/or services...

as an aside, I wish people would stop saying this is the "free market" at work... it's not... and you've no idea what a free market is all about.
in our economy, only the consumer is free, the business is not.... the business relationship , from the business owners POV, is coerced.

They really do worship the business owners. God forbid anyone do anything to hurt their bottom line.

I noticed you were unable to argue against my factual statement... at least try next time.

    Why this particular sticker?

I'm not in the market to buy political or societal issue opinions, so advertising yours won't win me as a customer.
So you also boycott companies who put the Christian fish in their logo or John 3:16 on their menus? If not why not?

it's probably wiser , as a businessperson, to focus on your goods and/or services...
Telling people that they are bigotry free is focussing on their services...it appears you are the one not doing that as a customer.

    .

of course it is....this is advertising, plain and simple.

and you've no idea what a free market is all about.
    I think I do....

How? A free customer is made more free with more information. Why is it negative to give information?

.. because this sticker is the one we are conversing about

boycott is too strong a term... i would probably not go in to establishments that advertise their political or societal opinions.

i am what you would probably call a "gun nut".. and there are places i don't go into because they have all these pro-2nd amendment stickers or banners.... mind you, these are eateries, not gun stores
I just roll my eyes and pass on by.

it's a lie... noone is "bigotry free".... the only way they are focusing on their products or service is if they are in the business of selling political or societal opinions.

    .

advertising thier opinions, not their products or services..... sorry, i'm not interested in what causes they support or don't support

    I think I do....
a free market is a voluntary bilateral relationship between buyer and seller.... what we have is a trilateral relationship in which there is no balance.
to put it kinda bluntly... sellers are coerced to sell ( by a 3rd party.. the state), but buyers are not coerced to buy.
buyers are free to withhold their money, but sellers are required to sell.
the buyer is free, the seller is not.
all sorts of people blow their tops when someone is denied a service or good for a reason they don't agree with... but nobody has ever blown their top over a buyer not buying ...even if we are talking abut the same exact reason.

for the most part, it's irrelevant information.. it's more noise in a world full of noise.
