Re: AFA: Shops who display ‘We Don’t Discriminate’ stickers are bullying Christians[W
Why this particular sticker?
.. because this sticker is the one we are conversing about
So you also boycott companies who put the Christian fish in their logo or John 3:16 on their menus? If not why not?
boycott is too strong a term... i would probably not go in to establishments that advertise their political or societal opinions.
i am what you would probably call a "gun nut".. and there are places i don't go into because they have all these pro-2nd amendment stickers or banners.... mind you, these are eateries, not gun stores
I just roll my eyes and pass on by.
Telling people that they are bigotry free is focussing on their services...it appears you are the one not doing that as a customer.
it's a lie... noone is "bigotry free".... the only way they are focusing on their products or service is if they are in the business of selling political or societal opinions.
.
of course it is....this is advertising, plain and simple.
advertising thier opinions, not their products or services..... sorry, i'm not interested in what causes they support or don't support
a free market is a voluntary bilateral relationship between buyer and seller.... what we have is a trilateral relationship in which there is no balance.
to put it kinda bluntly... sellers are coerced to sell ( by a 3rd party.. the state), but buyers are not coerced to buy.
buyers are free to withhold their money, but sellers are required to sell.
the buyer is free, the seller is not.
all sorts of people blow their tops when someone is denied a service or good for a reason they don't agree with... but nobody has ever blown their top over a buyer not buying ...even if we are talking abut the same exact reason.
How? A free customer is made more free with more information. Why is it negative to give information?
for the most part, it's irrelevant information.. it's more noise in a world full of noise.
