I hope it doesn't happen. Her husband was a much better leader than her son.

We'll know long before November who the nominees are.

I'm hoping if that's the choice that Hillary wins. I want to see what kind of gown Bill wears.

Every now and then all good Bushes need a little trim. Excellent call.
I think it depends on whom the nominees are. Personally I think the same thing applies to Clinton. I would rather have someone else whose name didn't end in Bush or Clinton. But rarely does one get his way. Jeb Bush at the moment is in third place among potential Republican nominees behind Huckabee and Paul.

    RealClearPolitics - Election 2016 - 2016 Republican Presidential Nomination

Looking at all 10 potential nominees RCP lists, Bush probably would be my choice, not a happy choice, but a better choice than the other 9. But that is just my opinion.

here is RCP's list of potential Democratic nominees:

    RealClearPolitics - Election 2016 - 2016 Democratic Presidential Nomination

Although dead last, my choice among the Democrats would be Schweitzer. In fact listing all 16 potential nominees, both Republican and Democrat, Schweitzer would be my choice for president. But if the choice came down between Hillary and Jeb, I probably would have to go with Jeb. Not that I would be one bit happy with that choice, it would boil down to the least worst choice, Jeb over Hillary.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

I would come out in full pearls and heels. The works. Of course, I'm strange.

Re: Americans agree with Barbara Bush

Barbara Bush should zip the lip....

How is it that America has to be tried of the Bush's when the leading candidate for the Democrats is the wife of a former president? Now that's a dangerous dynasty in my opinion, especially with their record of greed and lining of pockets.

But that's OK. It's OK to have father and son Adamses, neither of which stands out much, or two Roosevelts, both of whom stand out. But we don't count them I guess because one was a Republican and candidate for the greatest president in all time, and the Other was a Democrat who ruled like Obama, playing the poverty pimp but whose solutions were ineffective.

But this, Is suspect, is a metaphor for what has become American politics. Image.

It matters not what a person's abilities may be, or academic record for that matter, Obama having been hired with neither experience nor a CV...

What does count is his name, how he dresses, what family they are from and, anymore skin color.

Schweitzer is an interesting guy...He's half German, half Irish. Has a Jewish name, but he's Catholic. That last name will probably hurt him with some of the ill-educated. That said, he's aligned with the NRA, so he might pass muster with conservative dems and repubs.

I think her comment below was Barbara's way of including the Clinton's.

"I think this is a great American country, and if we can't find more than two or three families to run for high office, that's silly.
