Your first link doesn't even describe what kind of violence was happening. For all we know that "violence" was just someone bashing in a park rangers vehicle or punching some park rangers nose for making an offensive comment. Yet you are trying to link all the violence in 2013 to militias.

Like I stated previously, militia groups and terrorist groups don't die off or fade away into obscurity, they lay low, and come back to make trouble in years following initial attacks.

In this link, the story outlines violence and threats against forest service workers and BLM employees.

I expanded on that in a later post, and in brief, the answer is "No, not in a general sense." I explained the point I was making.

It is truely shocking that anti-gov't violence is most often directed at gov't buildings/workers. Naturally when you diiscount all other crime/violence it seems that public employes are being picked on more on the job. I can assure you that retail clerks suffer as crime victims at a far higher rate than gov't workers, even the PEER folks are forced to admit that.

Statistcs, carefully manipulated, can be shown to "prove" anything. From ZERO (two years ago) to more than zero (recently) is indeed a "huge spike" just as an increase from 1 to 3 is a 300% increase. Did it make the papers two years ago that there was a huge decrease in such violence? Did we celebrate a year after the OKC bombing that such violence has dramitcally decreased?

It seems that the freak out factor is extremely high when a "new threat" can be attributed to those linked (however loosely) with the politcial opposition.

And so, now it's come to being violent towards people working in the field who are employed by the US Government as Forest Service and BLM people.

This won't come to an end until more government employees are injured or killed by just performing their jobs. Then the government might do something about finding these nut jobs, arresting them and getting them into courts.

It must be pretty bad for people just doing their jobs having to look over their shoulders all the time, wondering if someone is going to attack them.
If your job puts you at odds with people. Well, it seems natural that those people are going to push back. Seems the BLM is taking some advantages of people they shouldn't.

Do I think that, by and large, the average Ranger or BLM employee is equivalent to the KGB or engaged in oppression? No. Do I support indiscriminate violence against same? No.

But as I keep saying (and you keep ignoring) there are REASONS why there is a push-back going on, and it involved Federal land grabs and numerous offenses against property owners in certain states, and heavy-handed Fed actions.

The thing that ought to concern everyone is that we've reached a point where grievances against the People have caused some to start viewing any Fedgov agent as an enemy... and to recognize that the reasons why are NOT simply "militia are violent for no reason".
If the far left had their way the fed government would own all the land and we the people would be in a drawing for the privilege to put a small hovel of a hut on a tiny plot of land.

Already read it. I found this part of particular interest...

Baca said there was no proof of a link between militia groups, the wise-use movement and anti-government violence, "other than that there's an atmosphere of militancy and a lot of common threads in their beliefs."

Everything you need to know about the long fight between Cliven Bundy and the federal government
Other than some militia folks standing up to federal officials on the Clive Bundy situation no where in that does it link militias to any of the other violent happenings.

Not to mention it doesn't once make mention of militias anywhere in it.

Your attempt to blame militias for the rise of violence against park rangers is failing miserably. Do you even read your own sources?

    Occasionally I do.
But I love how you cherry picked the articles, I wouldn't have expected anything less.

actually if your vision of government agents doing their job is like the KGB then yes your hate for our country is gone too far.

This looks more like the work of PETA. Possibly in conjunction with Greenpeace.
