Gun enthusiasts threaten woman for marketing 'safer gun'[W:196]

Re: Gun enthusiasts threaten woman for marketing 'safer gun'

You think you own the 2nd amendment?
Anyday...anytime you want to go toe to toe on the 2nd or any other contitutional provision...have at it.

What does any of that mean and why the threat?

Re: Gun enthusiasts threaten woman for marketing 'safer gun'

Who have I intimidated or bullied?

Well thats the thing see...gun bullies never admit they're a bully. They just think they're patriots.

Re: Gun enthusiasts threaten woman for marketing 'safer gun'

Just you. Im here when ever you feel the need.

You asked and I said yes, now you are threatening me? Why?

You clearly dont understand the difference between a challenge and a treat....typical.

Re: Gun enthusiasts threaten woman for marketing 'safer gun'

Right on cue with the bullying and intimidation.
I didn't address you, you addressed me. And you have a history of "bullying and intimidation" on this, asserting everyone who disagrees with your opinion as crazy, without bringing up any facts.

I disagreed with you and you'd tried to intimidate me with insults. You don't have a valid argument and it shows.

What difference does it make if its a challenge or a threat if the result is the same?

Re: Gun enthusiasts threaten woman for marketing 'safer gun'

My guns are extremely safe as they only fire when I load them and pull the trigger...

Re: Gun enthusiasts threaten woman for marketing 'safer gun'

A "safe gun" sounds like a oxymoron.

SO is:
gun-control laws
gun-safety laws
sensible gun control

Why would I threaten? to what end? I challegend him to debate the 2nd amendment or any other constutional provison....did you not read that?

Logic. it's easy when you connect all the dots.

Don't forget "gun free zones"...

Yeah, that what all the gun owners say....until someone close to them gets killed or injured.

Have you met Haymarket? I think you might like him.

This has not been an issue with any weapon I've ever owned...

Guns aren't dangerous, they are actually safer than many things in your home. Of course, some older models were prone to catastrophic malfunctions but the fact is it is a simple mechanism that functions only when operated. Usually, a firearms incident should be filed under ID10T error. When you add steps to a firing mechanism, you add time to operate that a person may not have, when you add electronics, you add potential failure to the equation. This gun is actually less safe than a standard model, the very first thing is to safely operate a firearm at all times.

Re-reading it....perhaps it was more of a challenge.

The intent is to design guns that can not be used by accident by toddlers or little kids.

If by "insult" you mean beat your arguments, proved your lack of knowledge of the subject, and asserted my own. Guilty.

If properly stored, they cannot be used by anyone unauthorized to do so...

Re: Gun enthusiasts threaten woman for marketing 'safer gun'

First, I'm sorry this woman is being harassed. A difference in opinion does not warrant abuse.

Intimidation and bullying is why I don't care for gun enthusiasts very much. If they had a valid reason or argument they wouldn't need to use such tactics.

It's disappointing that only two people in this thread seem to be bothered by the woman's harassment.

If gun enthusiasts value 'rights' then they should oppose those who are harassing her and realize/recognize how creepy and dangerous THAT behavior is. What will responses be if she ends up being shot or harassed further as a result? Why? Because she thinks a product is beneficial and good and so she sells it?

Read post 49 (responding to the pre-edited version) then post 50. I don't know where that turn came from.

While leaving the proper owner exposed when it fails, or misfiring if it overheats, and at the end of the day, it's an overpriced .22 pistol. The damn thing is junk, and the developers should hang their heads in shame.

That does not mean they don't have the right to sell it.
