Why, has there been some announcement. I haven't had anything up on it yet.

Because they haven't done anything that might turn Putin back. I didn't say they announced anything. They just behave in a manner that says to me they aren't going prevent the take over of Eastern Ukraine. What they are doing is meaningless. It is domestic politics, not international relations.

they still sell quite a few arms, especially to poor countries,if you had actually seen the world, most of it uses russian arms, either because it was cheaper,or because they used them for so long they were familiar with them, and unless any country has a massive r&d budget to create their own arms,or the money to buy us or nato arms, russian arms are going to be their choice, cheap, reliable, effective, they wont win any awards for being superior, but they will be reliable.

Russia has honored its promise not to provide Iran with the state of the art S-300 air defense system, because of sanctions on Iran. Now Russia finds itself in the same boat as Iran. Now my question is will this anger Russia to the point it sells the air defense system to Iran along with possibly 100 or more modern fighter jets?

Already Putin is costing us more than what the Europeans are putting out.

Untrue, Russia's weapon exports have increased every year but one since 2001. Last year alone was over 13 billion. Thats not small potato's.

Yeah I would agree with you there.....just like we should be taking care of ourselves. Can't help others until one helps themselves first.

Putin depends on the support of the Russian people and they want economic growth. If we deny him this he will either cave or be deposed.
