Well i say about goddamn time! This was a ridiculous program to begin with! Hell i would argue its against unreasonable search and seizure, but then again I believe a lot of things we do are! But hey at least it finally ended! I guess a step forward!?!?!?
I like that it was a thing that needed to be shut down. The headline is absurdly dystopian.

Evidence leading to surveillance might include, but not be limited to:

    1. Individuals already under surveillance on account of Intelligence leads attending on a regular services
    2. Biographical information, rhetoric or writings of those leading services
    3. Financial data that is reported to the IRS and other government agencies
    4. Deliveries at unusual hours

Professional law enforcement and counterterrorism entities have many ways of collecting information prior to deciding whether to put a place or person under continuing surveillance.

Only to folks who give a rat's backside about freedom and abhor intrusive governments.

I'm not aware that any muslim mosques in NYC had any of these rights you identified curtailed. However, given probable cause, any of us - not just muslim groups, could have these things occur. In fact, all it takes is a phony phone call and we can get "swatted".
“I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on what’s being proposed here, he’d agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute.” - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

I'm talking about the OP, and how it is a completely different tone than when a backwoods craphole totalitarian state makes an improvement.

Clearly, at least one person understood.

Hopefully people are smart enough to realize its stupid to blame a wide range of people for the actions of a few folks they have no real association with.
