I think it would have been appropriate to protest outside. I'm not saying what they did do should be illegal, it's just rude and inappropriate and disrespectful to the speaker.
So they should protest where they're not heard or seen?

Again, Disgbe.....c'mon. That's not how protests work.

I never said they shouldn't. I just said the manner in which it was done was rude

But the only option you've left open for a protest to take place in which you don't consider it rude is one in which it's not seen or heard (by the people it's directed at). That sort of handicaps the whole point of a protest from the outset.

I condone SSM but you're wrong on this point. Legalizing same-sex marriage is actually introducing the government into more lives. Thats what a legal marriage is, making the state a signing party in your relationship. Thats how you get those certain legal protections and rights. If you don't legaly marry then the state has no buisness in your relationship.

Is that why it should be illegal for gays to marry? Lotta bullcrap.

So what did all you professors do the next day at class?

Okay everybody, when the clock is exactly at ten minutes after the hour everybody drop their pencils on the floor at the same time. It will be so cool; the teacher will be like what the hell?

Glad to see the First Amendment is still alive at Sinclair Community College.

Amateurs I would say, liberals at Columbia University would have cut the power to the PA system rushed the stage and maybe even a few coconut cream pies would have been thrown.

What the university students did is tame. Canada just arrested the guy yesterday, "LaBarbera was arrested and charged on Monday, along with a Saskatchewan man who was also on campus trying to distribute literature about the 'evils of homosexuality.'" He spent the night in jail and now has a court hearing in May. I wonder if he'll respect Canada's rule of law or if he'll bounce and skip the hearing.

I never said it should be illegal for gays to marry. I think SSM should be legal.

That doesn't change the fact that legaly marrying is opening your life to more government regulation, not less. You've been told that the government refusing to give you a marriage certificet is an intrusion, but it's not. Its the government refusing to intrude. What pro-SSM wants is access to this voluntary government intrusion.
