N.C. just found thousands of felony-level voter fraud cases

Nothing has been proved???

People voted in more than one precinct in more than one state.

People that were dead... voted.

Both of those things have been proven.

Nothing in what I said had anything to do with voter ID.

I think if you were to read my other posts on this board, and talk to many of the other members, you would find that I am one of the least partisan people on this forum.

In other words, your blatant denial of the facts in the reports of the findings, is Blindly Partisan, by saying nothing has been proven.

Not a good start for a new member here.

These things haven't actually been proven. That's why the investigation is just starting.

If these things had been proven, there would be criminal proceedings already pending.

How many voted in two separate precincts? When the same charges were laid two years ago in South Carolina, investigation found more than half of the supposed dual voters were due to clerical errors. We have people with the same names, we have people who moved from one district to another and didn't tell the old registrar they no longer lived in the district. South Carolina found almost everyone of the "dead" voters were cases of sons with the same names as their deceased fathers.

At this time NOTHING has been proven, the elections board has found names that seem to indicate voter fraud but until every single scrap of paper is gone over, checking signatures and verifying that there were no mistakes, we have only charges but no proof.
Please explain, someone - how does one get from my statement, "we have only charges but no proof" to the following?

So you'd be fine with ignoring all this regardless of the truth that may be found if it hasn't already? Good to know. Let's just dismiss anything found so that the status quo remains. Except, I would prefer that my vote not be wiped out by one of these people and disenfranchise me; that is if you don't mind.

For some reason, I find little connection with what I wrote and the claim that I would "be fine with ignoring all this regardless of the truth". It does seem to be just another instance of someone who 'knows' the Truth and reality be damned.

Another absolute bull**** story from a FAR RIGHT rag. Keep trying, guys. It keeps you from doing something that really might be dangerous, such as crafting a message that appeals to people other than old white guys.

Way to rebut with facts and evidence. Like a true drone.

This is why every vote needs to have the full legal name as well as their SS number (or last 4 digits) along with it. Then the votes can be uploaded and cross checked in a central database for duplicates and fraud. It wouldn't be hard to write the software to do this, yet it hasn't been done or proposed. The hand counting of votes needs to go away because it is another avenue for fraud and percent error. Although the other side of this argument is that someone shady could subvert the system.

political porn does no one any good. Its pretty easy to find lies, fabrications and wack-a-doo theories on the Internet....

Boston Air Traffic Controller Says 9/11 An Inside Job

... just because you find some article does not mean its true. If you can't find a story from a mainstream source, it probably is not true. Keep your smut to yourself....

You actually believe the bs the mainstream outlets cover? You know they are highly controlled in the area of political correspondence, right? I suppose you think we are doing Ukraine a favor also? Since that is what the MSM is spewing out. Utter garbage the MSM is. The satire of John Stewart is more accurate than those talking heads.

There are a ton of objective sources beyond the "main stream media".... if you don't know how to verify an article or an assertion, than I suggest you spend too much time with political porn..... I agree that "main stream media" often must serve the commercial master and stay away from things that have no traction, but they generally are not in the business of making news, which is what you get from a political porn site (as is the case with the site in question)...

If you actually did any research on voter fraud, you would find it is almost non-existent. The article you cite, from a political porn site, runs contrary to almost anything you can find on the subject. If you lack the discernment to understand that, so be it.... but when you post this trash here without verifying it (which you can not), be prepared to accept the wrath of those that challenge your understanding of things..... Its political smut and you know it. Don't expect any serious person to take it seriously.

Pray tell, why are Republican governed states cutting voting times by eliminating early voting days and weekend voting - days when low income workers have the time to stand in line to vote?

Why have Republican legislatures decided to refuse to accept state university photo IDs?

Why have Republican states made absentee voting easier? Many of the cases of dual votes have been the result of mailed in ballots followed up by in-person voting

When it is pointed out that the laws being passed impact demographic groups which traditionally vote Democratic, the Republican response has been "Yeah, so what!" Turzai: Voter ID Law Means Romney Can Win in PA | PoliticsPA

It is not the "charges of voter fraud" that piss off Democrats, it is the laws being passed which directly affect many voters without actual justification. In every instance investigated to date, all in Republican states, the results have failed to support the charges of wide-spread voter fraud.

Yeah. Let's take a look at NY: Voter Fraud: We

Yes, the charges of voter fraud piss Democrats off like nothing else apparently.
Well asking someone for a ID to vote pisses you people off too.

But the two, I'm sure are NOT related......maybe.
Well it is kinda like crappin' on their last bowl of corn flakes.

North Carolina was the only state that reports voter fraud and the only swing state that went to Romney and the governorship went to a republicon for the first time in 20 years and the republicons picked up three seats in the house.
A purple state went red, big time, only where voter fraud was found... when other southern swing states went blue
ANYONE CAN DO THAT MATH.
Republicon voter fraud!

Yeah. Let's take a look at NY: Voter Fraud: We

Rather typical right-wing hyperbole combined with outright lies and/or simply being unable to read.

61 votes were cast by the investigators using the names of dead voters: The Board of Health had failed to notify the Board of Elections in 39 of the cases, wrong middle names and incorrect spelling meant 10 other deceased had not been removed from the rolls of voters. Twelve dead people voted, not a good number but not as bad as the right is screaming about. Even with photo ID, that means you could have had 49 dead people voting, never mind the problem with absentee ballots.

Well then, that makes it all just fine. Glad you cleared all that up.

Again, potential cases. Apparently nobody has told you guys that the vast majority of cases investigated turn out to not actually be fraud.

What part of partial would you file this under?

Initial findings from the Board presented to the Joint Legislative Elections Oversight Committee Wednesday showed:
•765 voters with an exact match of first and last name, date of birth, and last four digits of the social security number were registered in N.C. and another state, and voted in N.C. and the other state in the 2012 general election.
•35,750 voters with the same first and last name and date of birth were registered in N.C. and another state, and voted in both states in the 2012 general election.

 Yeah, anecdotes, that will win the argument for you.

My anecdotes are as good as anybody else's, especially those including vague dismissals which don't address any substantive points. Naturally, for those of a particular disposition, no objective will be met by doing such a thing.

What part of partial would you file this under?

Better question: assuming 100% of these are actual fraud, how many of these votes would have been stopped by voter ID?

I totally agree that your anecdotes are just as worthless as everyone else's anecdotes.

You haven't made any substantive points. The fact that O'Keefe can videotape getting someone else's ballot is not evidence that voter fraud is rampant.

Here's a pdf which outlines the multi state voter integrity project. I'd start on page 32 for an explaination of the states that are participating, page 35 displays their findings which are described on the ABC news site and page 39 has legislated requests authored by the board of elections. Have fun.

$100 says they wont prosecute any of them because Eric Holder directed his state attorney generals not to. I may not like our executive branch too much or the leadership provided...but the judicial branch is truly corrupt to the core. I have no trust in the judicial branch at all.

You didn't answer my question because you know the answer is zero. Checking my ID doesn't show whether or not I've already voted in a different state. Dipping my finger in ink would literally be more effective at this task.
