Retiring NSA chief doesn't understand why people hate the NSA

Retiring NSA chief doesn't understand why people hate the NSA
By Kevin Collier (Google+) on March 31, 2014
As National Security Agency director KeithAlexander retires, he's not sure why so many people dislike him and his work.
But that seemed lost on Alexander. "I thinkour nation has drifted into the wrong place," he told the Times. "Weneed to recognize that those who are working to protect our nation are not thebad people."

"We need to recognize that those who are working to protect our nation are not the bad people."

Reminds me of Ikari's sig: "Remember, this is for your protection!"

Hey douchebag, I don't need you to protect me nor would I consider my rights for my life a fair trade.

All Presidents back to World War 2, just for reference, have done the same thing.
We all know why there is a different standard for MaObama.

As we look to 2016, Rand Paul has a definite edge on this issue with all GOP Elites like Jeb Bush as well as with Mrs. Clinton .

He is the bad guy. What he needs to understand is that the gross expansion of government force and monitoring for causes of "safety" are not always warranted, nor always good. And in the case of current NSA policy and action....it's not good.

    He should be in jail.

    He should.

His existence and attitude justifies Edward Snowden.

I don't hate the NSA. Since 9/11 there has not been one foreign terror attack against the USA that has been successful. I count that as a job well done.

He needs to stop worrying about the ignorant mob who bitch about everything while doing nothing because bitching is lazy and easy to do.

So all we needed was the NSA to protect us? Are actually discounting all the other agencies that watch our backs?

That is like the government being unsure why people dislike the TSA. I'm not sure if they are morons or just dishonest assholes.

You do realize they could only prove they stopped one terrorist threat, right?
