The point is that Obama was actually in the process of running for president, whereas Rice has made it explicitly clear she has no desire to.

Well if she isn't considering it.....then she wouldn't even be out running to fundraisers nor out giving Speeches to the GOP. She has several Jobs she could be doing. Someone is coaching from behind. Make no mistake about that.

I'm not a neoconservative.

The neoconservatives had a purpose when they fled the Democrat Party and came under the GOP tent, we couldn't have won the Cold War without them.

But there are times when I wish the neoconservatives would return to the Democrat Party and take back their liberal label that was hijacked from them by the radical fringe of the left during the 1970's.

Then reestablish the Un-American Activities Commission in Congress so America could be returned to the people of America.

It's a win win, the true liberals are back in their party behind the liberal label and the true nationalist socialist take back the progressives label from the Marxist.

I am going to guess that Condi will not be a candidate.The only way that she will ever be in the White House is as a guest.

apdst.. where do you get your news?

I use Pulse, which does a great job of aggregating media sources. It lets me see the news stories that are trending on the left/right/and middle as well as the important stories by the AP. I also read the Atlantic, Daily Beast, NYT, WashPo, and a few others. When something important hits, the first thing I do is try to find original sources so that I know enough about the topic to know when a source is either incompetent or misleading.

I answered it... I'm certain you can answer it. It's an easy question. Why are you making excuses for Palin? She flunked the softest of the softest sofball questions.

Seriously, it doesn't matter. It was her job as a politician, and the job of McCain's campaign people to prepare. They failed in their jobs. "What papers do you read?" is not a hard question. Name 2 newspapers, one of which can be the Wasilla Chronicle or whatever the local paper is called and the New York Times. There. I just answered the question for her, how hard was that?

Instead she was woefully unprepared. But no, that couldn't be it. That wouldn't be a liberal's fault. Personal Responsibility - in your world it means blame someone else.
