Condi Rice Blasts Obama on Weakness, Leadership

I like her a lot.........I think she has thick enough skin to handle it........I hope she runs as president or VP. She is a tough lady and a lot smarter then Palin.

Yeah, she'd be one that I'd consider voting for.

She's been at that high level of elected office, she knows what it would take, and knows what the job demands. Above all, she's book smart and experience smart, comes across as honest and sincere, and even above all that, she's articulate and communicates exceedingly well, something that we've not seen in our leadership for quite sometime, and may very well be the most under rated and under appreciated skill for a politician in high office.

I agree! The left as you call it and most moderates that are sick of being involved in wars. I'm not at all sure most conservatives are happy about waging wars either.

I hope she does too, she's a very intelligent person and would be a better President by far than either Bush or Obama (or Gore, Kerry, McCain, Romney...the list goes on). Unfortunately, she may be too smart to want the job.

I rspect Dr. Rice. I wonder how a GOP primary challenge would go comprared to Mrs Palin...Mano a mano. A Dr. Rice vs Mrs. Palin debate would be priceless.

Come on. Your girl started spouting fragmented, incoherent, canned responses. If she didn't know, she should have attacked Katie Couric for asking that type of thing in the first place. That's the kind of thing you just do when it's from the heart. When you have it deep down inside. But she was just scared, because she knew she was being exposed as being out of her league. Sorry.

I don't know why there is a concern, I doubt Palin will run.

That's a good point. However, I would say in her defense that Cheney and Rumsfeld had more sway over Bush at that point, and that she was just happy to be there along for the ride at that point. It was after it became apparent Iraq was a bad idea that she started to have more influence over Bush when Cheney fell out of favor.

But on the other hand, she was associated with it and did not speak out against it, so I think your point is valid.

I guess it depends on how the information was presented to her. Do you think she didn't believe she was going the right thing? Frankly I don't know. Torture in and of itself seems wrong, but put in context with saving lots of lives can seems different. The other thing was they was arguing over what constituted torture for a long time. Weighing the Geneva Convention against other legal concerns, I don't know.
