Re: Condi Rice Blasts Obama on Weakness, Leadership

My point is that Palin's mission right now is to get her GOP candidates into the House and Senate.
Just a quick read of the lead pages of RealClearPolitics for this week will tell you who she has endorsed.
Just one example: Joni Ernst in Iowa, who started an ad with "I grew up castrating hogs ...
I guess I'm one of the few Dems on dp that respects Palin's influence in GOP primaries.
It remains to be seen how well Palin's candidates do in the general election .

    NIMBY not so much .

What racism? Oh, you mean disagreeing with Obama is racism because he's black?

Do you think it's possible that people can disagree with Obama because they disagree with his policies, or is it just because he's black?

I do not agree with you.
If the GOP had not been using monkey-terms for 5+ years, maybe.
This is a deliberate attempt by the GOP to smear Obama in the worst way.

This one out of the GOP play book is already old.

For you to ask that question removes all doubt about you .

But when it comes to running in an actual election, I strongly believe that Palin will never be anything more than a spoiler, someone who would split the conservative vote and be more likely to enable a moderate - as far as any modern Republicans can be called 'moderate' - to take the nomination.

Y'know, when it was announced that she was on McCain's short list of VEEP prospects, I knew immediately it would be her. Why? He's a retired sailor. Being one myself, that's all I needed to know.

Please educate me - what doubt has it removed for you about me? And please be specific.

I finds it very unusual that Rand Paul and Paul Ryan didn't make the cut at the Adelson primary in Vegas tonight.
Especially Sen. Paul, who is the GOP odds-on favorite IMHO and not a wing-nut like Cruz.
And it's the Senate races where the GOPs have been ****ing up with loons, not the POTUS nominees.

    Talk about a king-maker and big-money influence.
